Enigma Posted September 20, 2003 Report Posted September 20, 2003 "WWE The Ultimate Ric Flair Collection will be released on November 18, 2003, and it is a 3-disc DVD. That is not a typo. The Flair Collection is a THREE DISC DVD!" Michael Weaver, Jr. 1Wrestling
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted September 20, 2003 Report Posted September 20, 2003 There's already a big post for this.
Enigma Posted September 20, 2003 Author Report Posted September 20, 2003 But it only lists it as being 2 discs. I didn't see a release date mentioned either.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted September 20, 2003 Report Posted September 20, 2003 It's on the third page.
Guest Eagan469 Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 (edited) EDIT: it was a wishlist http://wienerboard.com/thread.php/id=14031 Edited September 21, 2003 by Eagan469
Guest Eagan469 Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 source please it's on another board - they are all listed as "rumored matches" some guy could have made them up for all I know
cawthon777 Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 Rumored or not, I have high expectations now.
Guest ToddRoyal Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 I don't believe any of it. It came from a "newz" board and the original listing of it makes it sound a heck of a lot like what some guy WANTS rather than anything remotely confirmed. Especially since the WWE doesn't have access to the Von Erich cage match or the Nature Boy Vs. Nature Boy match. This list is just someone's wish list, you should probably just ignore it completely.
Guest Eagan469 Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 It came from a "newz" board no it didn't
Guest The Real Nosferatu Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 ::Waits until WWE releases a confirmed list:: I'm getting a little anoyed with people posting wish lists as the DVD list, considering theres no way WWE would put all those WCW matches. But one can wish, and I hope some of the matches in that list is on it.
Guest Eagan469 Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 nevermind, google proved it to be fake
Guest Choken One Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 I don't believe any of it. While yes it does seem like a wish list...I do believe Flair obtained the rights to the Von Erich Match at least...Not sure about The Rogers match. The giveaway is the guy giving REASONS. WWE would NEVER put the Eaton match there when they can replace that with a WWE match. I'm still wanting a 2 Disc of wrestling and a Disc of a 3 hour Shoot/Retro spective...Have various Promo cut ins...Have all the wrestlers share their love for Ric...include the Carolina Raw a few months ago with the thank you celebration...
JustJoe2k5 Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 Hopefully, WWE will include the 2/3 Falls match between Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat and not the WrestleWar match. Since it's a 3-DVD set, maybe they'll add the full '92 Royal Rumble on one of them.
Guest Choken One Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 They already got the Wrestlewar match on the HHH DVD... The rumble is likely as they put the entire Ironman Match on Shawn's...it's the same length and equally significant...
BoboBrazil Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 3 discs and half of it will be stuff since his 2001 return to WWE Watch and see.
Fökai Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 3 discs and half of it will be stuff since his 2001 return to WWE Watch and see. Considering the first 7 months of his matches won't be used due to the settlement? Or that the last 11 months that Flair has wrestled even less than part-time, while serving a managerial role? Face it, two-thirds of the stuff is coming from NWA, WCW and its affiliates. The rest will span his run in 1991-1993 in the WWF, with one match from this past year (most likely v. Shawn at Bad Blood or v. HHH from June RAW) to stay current. EDIT: Now that there's a THIRD disc added to the FTM series, I'd virtually guarantee that this move was made for the sake of including the 1992 Royal Rumble in its entirety. Excuse me, while I go wet my pants.
Jebus Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 Now that it's been confirmed by Wrestling Observer... CAN'T WAIT FOR NOVEMBER 18th!!!
Guest The Real Nosferatu Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 Underpants Change for Bravesfan in WWE folder. Underpants Change in WWE folder.
