Bills stand for

Boy

I

Love

Losing

Superbowls

and it makes me shutter how bad Oakland is this year

Gee, that's original and intelligent. It's sad that that team isn't remembered for anything other than that. It's actually probably an accomplishment (getting to 4 straight super bowls) that will never be done again. Getting there 4 times in a row is probably a bigger accomplishment than just getting there once and winning, but that's not how history is written.

Why doesn't the Vikings stand for that?  They lost 4 too.

They've been to four?

I thought the Vikings have only been to at least two?

Maybe I'm mistaken...

How could you not know that?

Coming in as #2 means you're the loser...so why should the Bills of the '90s be remembered for anything else?

Winning conference titles is meaningless without winning the the big game. It's the same reason the Braves during their dominant years will be seen as chokers instead of winners.

Does that mean then that every year, you have the person who wins it all and every other team is worthless and labeled a loser? They lost the final game, but they still finished ahead of 26 other teams. Is the person who wins the Silver medal at the Olympics a loser?
