MrRant Posted September 30, 2003 Report Posted September 30, 2003 There is going to be a NHL Center Ice Free Preview on INDEMAND from October 8th-14th for you all to check out.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted September 30, 2003 Report Posted September 30, 2003 Good. Now I can see if it's really worth my money or not.
MrRant Posted September 30, 2003 Author Report Posted September 30, 2003 Early Bird is $139 bucks and you get the "Total Stanley Cup" book free.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted September 30, 2003 Report Posted September 30, 2003 What's it cost after the preview. And do you know what the discount is for return customers?
the max Posted September 30, 2003 Report Posted September 30, 2003 Worth every cent. Of course, I am biased.
nl5xsk1 Posted September 30, 2003 Report Posted September 30, 2003 While I'm as biased as Max, count me as someone that agrees that it's worth every penny. Getting every game of the regular season (barring local blackouts) is the balls. Getting the opportunity to see teams (and thus players) that you'd otherwise never get to watch is priceless - I saw more games with Vancouver, Minnesota, Atlanta, etc. last year than I'd have gotten to see in a decade of ESPN games. Plus, Hockey Night In Canada, every Saturday.
the max Posted September 30, 2003 Report Posted September 30, 2003 That's the best part. Down here, we have the Panthers and the Lightning every once in a while, but there might be a big Avalanche v. Canucks or other out of market game that I can't see. Since ESPN news barely shows highlights of the games, I would have to resort to the internet. This is a great deal for any sport, and they offer it for all 4 major sports.
MrRant Posted October 7, 2003 Author Report Posted October 7, 2003 *bump* Tomorrow is the preview for a week~!
the max Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 *can't wait* I'm really looking forward to everything that's on tomorrow. Anaheim v. Dallas Minnesota v. Chicago New Jersey v. Boston PLUS!! Red Sox v. Yanks
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 Must call satellite company now.
Guest Bobby Cox is God Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 Being from Atlanta, I've never watched a hockey game in my life....I don't know anything about the Thrashers. Should I check the game out?
the max Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 The Thrashers open against Columbus...so...no. But check out Anaheim v. Dallas or New Jersey v. Boston.
Matt Young Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 I'm disappointed that DirecTV isn't offering the free preview. I've maybe watched 3 hockey games in my life, but with my fanatical interest in sports returning recently, I'd like to give the sport a chance. Of course, it'd be much better to see the games live and in person, and we do have the Junior Blues here, so maybe I should check out one of their games.
