Your Paragon of Virtue 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2003 Originally I was gonna make this a topic about how ridiculous it was to have Yoshida back out because of an injury he "suffered" in August when he has three months to heal. I mean honestly, I won't get into it, but we all know the deal. I also think it's even stupider to make Busta an addition, as he has already lost and you better hope he doesn't win otherwise it will make this whole GP a joke, as if it wasn't already, what with all the injuries and controversies surrounding who was picked, etc. You knew they had to find an excuse for Yoshida to get out, and an injury suffered in the previous match seems all too convenient, i.e. WORK. I feel empty and bitter inside. Some other news, Vitor is rumoured to have the next shot at Randy, and from what I've heard he is preparing intensely. While it's not official, he's signed with some big company in order to focus on the fight and has even postponed his wedding. There are admittedly no sources for this one, but it seems likely which is why I included it. Finally, I'd like to talk about Cro Cop's opponent at Bushido. We all expected a big wrestler for him to fight, so he could show off his ground skills in an effort to hype up his match with Fedor, we expected a guy with a CHIN~! so he could just knock him out like he's done with everyone else, or we thought he'd simply fight a aging but big name fighter to gain a rep with that idiot in the booth (I don't care to remember his name) ala Goodridge and Fedor. What we didn't expect was.... DOS CARAS JR~! That's right, he's fighting a PRO wrestler with NO credibility. He's not used to fighting on the ground, but rather through the air, lucha style. (If I'm wrong correct me I assume all lucha guys fly through the air). Best part is he will fight in the mask! Can't wait to see it, it can't do anything but make MMA look like a joke, and on top of that we might actually see someone DIE. These sources are backed up on certain websites taken from Sherdog (except the Vitor one, but that is likely anyways), so if you have any information on how reliable the site is and how wrong I might be than tell me so I can be called a loser for not doing it properly, and banned thereafter.
