Yeah, after they blow off the super hot Gb/Henry angle...

That's what I think WWE is planning to do, Choken. Build him up as a loose cannon to challenge Goldberg

I can see them giving him a heel run, but I think a match with Goldberg would be a disaster. Sure, they had a good match in WCW I heard, but these days I'm skeptical.

Not that WWE cares about the match quality, but I think they'll be hesitant to try another Steiner main event push.

Hell, when Steiner was good / decent, even he had to carry Goldberg. Fall Brawl 2000, anybody?

Hey, Rico could probably be a good replacement for Stacey. It's not as if his singles push is going anywhere.

Rico is quite happy jobbing on Heat while banging Miss Jackie.

In a perfect world WWE would build up that Steiner is one of the very *few* people to ever defeat Goldberg and I believe the only one to make him "Tap Out" but that won't happen...

Steiner as the Loose Cannon ala Pillman was great entertainment esp during those Inmates Running the Aslyum days since Steiner had free reign 90% of the time and just about every other day we heard about him breaking another law and turner bailing him out again and again...

Choken: That happened in WCW, so chances are they'll never bring it up for that very reason.

I honestly don't remember much from Steiner's WCW run around the time he faced Goldberg. I think I had stopped watching before then. I do remember he had a habit of sounding like a moron anytime a mic was put near him, so at least that hasn't changed.

Hell, maybe a match with Goldberg would motivate him or whatever. I still don't like the idea of throwing him back into the mix when he hasn't really done anything to earn it.

Oh well, when the time comes Jericho will likely be face again and the perfect choices to lay down for Steiner to build him up.

Steiner on the Mic was the highlight for MANY nitros...

Steiner was a killer Memphis Heel doing every god damn heel tatic you could imagine but unlike Jericho or X didn't look like a coward when he did it because of his Career Killing Gimmick where he would have funerals for the careers of everyone he beat (Nash, GB, DDP, etc)...

He had Midajah whom was a precursor to Victoria, Victoria however has the complete hotness, Midajah just had a ROCKING body but the face was "eh"...

Steiner in 2000 was just so fucking awesome...

I remember that one funeral (I believe the one for Nash) was considered in poor taste because it was held the day after the death of Dale Earnhart.

But it's not like there was a significantly large number of people who were watching Nitro by February 2001 anyway...

Why don't Steiner and Test just become tag team womanizing bastards who force Stacy to come along for the whole trip.

It would be kinda ironic if they win the tag titles, with Stacy in their corner, reluctant to be associated with the misogynists..when she was the one who put them both together.

Actually I thought that funeral was for Sid? Because I remember Sid broke his leg (in one of the most horrid televised injuries ever), Steiner came out with his stable and did a funeral in which he also shows RIPs for Booker T, Sting DDP and Sid

Don't know, don't particularly care. You can look it up if you really want to. DDTdigest.com is a good site for WCW show archives.

Nope, Hogan didn't want to lay down and wanted to set up a possible angle for a feud down the line...

Anyone else see Stacy managing the brand new bland OVW tag team flavor of the month. Or if nobody is ready to be brought up then make it........Jindrak & Cade.

The ME, was the Hogan injury legit?

It seemed believable as Hogan has had past problems with his knees and back.

But the again, I think he did a movie or two during his absence in 99.

Everyone says Steiner is this badass off-screen and a little of a roid-rager....do you think he'd really agree to do a gay angle? I'd say not. But then again, a paycheck's a paycheck.

I'd like this angle to be OVER, and let Steiner stay heel with Gail Kim as his valet. Think of it. Kim only knows one move (just like Lita in her heyday), so she can help Steiner in his matches using that one move (just like Lita). As for Steiner, he should keep his WCW 2000 character, but probably not to that same extreme. Calling himself a pimp and stuff will only make the fans turn him face. He should focus more on being mean than being a stud.

I look at it like this..finally Stiener is what he should be in any promotion and thats a heel. Test is gonna most likely tell him how proud he is of Stiener and let him out of his "contrat deal" Test has with him. And Stiener will hopefully work his way up the card...well just as long as HHH isn't around.
