Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Mikey & Sharky vs. Siaki & Ekmo is up next.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Nice double team move as Ekmo holds Sharky in a dragon sleeper while Siaki nails him with the Vader splash..
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Giant splash from Ekmo on Sharky for the win.. Siaki/Ekmo look like a competent enough tag team.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 2, 2003 D-Lo comes to save the duo from a post-match beat down. And here come the Red Shirts as promised to beat D-Lo.. and cuff him, and shove him out of the arena.

Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Gilberti takes a subtle shot at Jim Cornette - "Hey, I'm not your typical 1980's male manager. I don't carry a tennis racket.." Sandman will face David Young soon..

Guest TNAPhillip Report post Posted October 2, 2003 I don't know if they are bringing him back but that says something to me when he works one Xplosion match and gets put in the video package. As for can he work, honestly it's kinda hard to judge based off a less than five minute match but I was impressed with what I saw. Perhaps they are worried he would be another Jason Cross (one great finisher but besides that whatelse). JJ vs. AJ on 10/22/03 huh. well Either it will be the end Y2AJ (anybody else think his run as champ is like Jerichos was in WWE?) or it will be AJ's "Raven moment" as in he gets beat all match yet pulls out the win despite getting killed in the match. Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Sandman/Young is up.. god, I hate Sandman. I'm interested to see this kid then.. perhaps they'll bring him in for one of those elimination or tag matches which is basically a tryout on the ppv. No idea on if the 720's been hit before? syxx2001 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2003 For one Styles has been in 2 or 3 high profile matches (maybe more) while champion, while Jericho was in 1? 2? And Jason Cross could be a good X-Division guy. In EWR I had Kazarian, Cross, Shane and Sabin in a stable called Adrenaline Rush. I think the 4 of them could make a good group. They could be the DX of the X-Division. I also heard Cross works well with AJ Styles.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Sandman wins with Frankensteiner. Sigh.. Gilberti nails him with a chair, and now they're coming after David Young in the ring. WHAM. Chairshot. 3LK make the save.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Pain is my addiction. Vampiro. New Church / Vampiro -v- 3LK is up. Anyone else think Vampiro's hood looks like it's the top to a black Ku Klux Klan? EDIT : Oh.. no wonder he had that damn hood up, it was to hide that hideous mohawk. I miss the dreads. Guest TNAPhillip Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Cross was a lot better than he was allowed to show and I have seen one match between Aj and Cross and it was pretty good. As for my AJ Y2J comparrison, I think AJ has had a better run than Jericho did, but much like Y2J I think if he had been allowed to there is no telling just how great his run as champ could be. As for the 720 senton, if it has been done before, I haven't seen it.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Mohawk indeed. Yeah - who'd he fight on Xplosion? Konnan/Vampiro in the ring. Heh.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 2, 2003 I love how Killings throws those little spins in to this moves - like after the scissors kick and then right there after the huge double dropkick. Vampiro gets DQ'd after using Mitchell's cane. Raven hits the ring, still looking like a monkey.
SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2003 I can't afford TNA for the time being. How are things going over all tonight? I heard it's been bad the past few weeks.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Raven delivers a great promo afterwards.. Says how he's going to get to Mitchell, but first wants him to watch as he eliminates Vampiro, New Church and finally Shane Douglas. "Dream blood, Mitchell. Dream blood. Because I will make sure you have a life of sleepless nights. And while you're laying in your bed at night you'll hear your heart beating so hard that you'll think you're going to drown in the sound.. it'll be saying "Raven. Raven. Raven." He's one of best promoists in the business right now. That kid with the Vampiro mask behind the announcers rules.
JustJoe2k5 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2003 It's called the 630 Splash, TNA showed it in the promo for their show tonight. It's one full revolution and then back into a senton bomb, pretty good when he hits it although the one they show in the promo is kind of messed up.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 2, 2003 I can't afford TNA for the time being. How are things going over all tonight? I heard it's been bad the past few weeks. Eh.. it's been painfully average, in my opinion. I was expecting more from Lynn/Shane, the tag match was unexpectantly fun due to good teamwork from Ekmo/Siaki.. Everything else was just kind of there to me, other than aforementioned promo, which has been the highlight for me.. mainly because I'm a Raven mark. AJ/Russo -v- Dusty/Jarrett is up Russo has hilarious get up of a hockey player on.. anyone else seeing flashbacks of THE GOON~!

Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Only point worth noting is the continued psychology of working on Dusty's knee by AJ.. Russo tagged in, hit Dusty with a belt twice and tagged back out in a somewhat humorus moment.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Jarrett nails both with a bat while the ref sits there and watches.. what the hell, apparently it's a hardcore match? Top rope stroke on AJ.. Dusty nails a BIG~! bionic elbow according to Tenay.. sigh.. Dusty/Jarrett win

Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 2, 2003 AJ challenges Dusty to any match he wants, any stipulations, etc Russo tries to talk him out of it, but gets slapped in his face for his efforts.. Dusty/AJ for a title shot.. Jarrett gets mad at Dusty since he had the next title shot.. Face to face square off.. Everyone tries to pry them apart.. Nothing happens. Guest Basswitch Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Only person who i have ever seen hit a 720 is Dave Maynard (Who is probally the best backyard spot wrestler in the U.S, and is supposed to be being trained by CZW, last i heard).

Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Ah Yes, Raven with another one of rotuine Dark and gloomy promos trying to imitate Edgar Allen Poe as if he was some sort of tormented soul...It's pretty old Scott.
