EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2003 http://espn.go.com/boxing/news/2003/1004/1630682.html Not only did Holyfield lose, but he lost to a guy who really isn't in the realm of legitimate heavyweight contenders. Holyfield doesn't have the skills to compete anymore, and he really should hang up the gloves.
Papacita 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2003 I saw the fight last night. I like Toney, but Holyfield looked like he gave it up after about the 5th round or so. Judging by the look in his eyes and his comments after the fight, I don't see Holyfield fighting again. He's probably done after this.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted October 5, 2003 He'll fight again, just because he'd want to go out with a win. Maybe he'll fight some tomato can who used to have some kind of name just so he can knock the guy out and ride into the sunset, but Evander will not let his lasting memory be a KO loss to a middleweight (I mean, it probably will be the lasting memory, but it won't be his last fight).
