shlidgn90 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 in terms of violence levels does anyone think kill bill will be comparable to battle royale?
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted October 8, 2003 eh the big thing about Battle Royale wasn't really the violence, the big thing was the fact that kids were doing the violence. BR was violent, but I doubt BR would've gotten as much attention concerning the violence if it was adults doing it.
shlidgn90 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 stabbing someone in the genitals is pretty violent. cutting a persons head off and putting an grenade into the beheaded mouth to use to kill others is violent regardless of age.

Guest El Satanico Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Battle Royale was violent, but it wasn't any more violent than alot of 80's slasher films. If it wasn't for children doing the violence, the film wouldn't have received nearly as much attention. From what I've heard Kill Bill brings a good deal of violence, but that it has varying levels of violence.
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Having been well aware of BR's reputation, I was let down as far as violence, and I'm not particularly a gore elitist. It was alright, but I agree it was more because of their age.
Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2003 The chick who played Chigusa, the one who stabbed the guy in the crotch, plays the one with the ball and chain in Kill Bill. Just saying
