Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 8, 2003 Since no one else has started one... I'm really looking forward to Shane/Sabin in the Trophey/Title match, Kazarian/Daniels has the possiblity to be really good as well.. AMW -v- Kash/Abyss could be good. So far the only real downer is the main event of Dusty/AJ. Also, the elimination match between 3LK and Swinger/Gilberti/Diamond is tonight..
tpww7 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 MLB Playoffs for me tonight. I might order a replay if the show turns out to be good, but I dont really see that happening.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Heh, which basically means I'll be covering this show myself for the most part. I expect this to be decent, and could turn out to be a good show. It has the makings of better than the last few weeks.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Jarrett out here calling out Rhodes to discuss what happened last week.. about how Rhodes "stole his thunder".
Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Jarrett's in the ring, bitching again. Jarrett just kinda dissed Bret Hart.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Jarrett makes interesting comment to set up Hogan/Jarrett "No Dusty, just listen for a second. You're exactly like every other whining legend, whether it be Bret Hart, Macho Man or Hulk Hogan." Not a direct quote, but you get the drift.
JN News 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Jarrett just kinda dissed Bret Hart. Fuck Jarrett. He's the most talentless hack in the NWA.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Red Shirt Security lead by Don Callis -v- D'lo / Chris Vaughn (who's one of the black shirt security) Callis has short hair now.
tpww7 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 So why is D'lo suddenly on the bottom of the card? Did he not sign a contract right away or something?
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Chris Vaughn goes for a dragonrana, but it's blocked and dropped into a really stiff looking powerbomb.. I don't know why, but I'm really digging these Red Shirt Security. Maybe it's just Vaughn's selling.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Vaughn goes for a tornado DDT, but gets northern lights suplexed into the corner in _another_ stiff looking spot. Vaughn does the face in peril really well.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Red Shirts pick up the win with the Bankruptcy as Kash calls it.. the double underhook piledriver.. good match. Beat down ensues on D'lo, but Erik Waats comes out for the save. Callis is FURIOUS~!
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Sit down interview with Dusty.. *yawn*
Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Red Shirts pick up the win with the Bankruptcy as Kash calls it.. the double underhook piledriver.. good match. Isn't the double underhook piledriver called the Money Maker, not the Bankruptcy?
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Yeah.. I couldn't recall the name; my friend told me that one. I'll take your word on it however. Jarrett has "left the building."
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Shane/Sabin match is up! Trophey/Title match.. this should be good.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Future Shock by Sabin, but Shane gets the foot on the ropes.. Been decent thus far, not as good as I expected yet.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Shane grabs the belt, gets interrupted with the belt, while the ref was distracted Sabin hits the Cradle Shock I believe it's called, but Shane kicked out when the ref finally got around to counting. Shane hooks the trunks on the rollup a little ways later and gets the win. Tenay : "He's an opportunist AGAIN~!" Shane now holds both the Super X trophy and the X Division title. From what I've seen, Shane is overrated. Not nearly as good as he's made out to be.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 David Young tries to "talk" to Gilberti about what transpired last week, but Gilberti hides behind the interviewer and the tag champs and says "Sorry, we've got to get to our match." And they skirmish off to the ring. So Gilberti/Diamond/Swinger -v- 3LK in an elimination match is up now. 3LK are still way over in the Asylum.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Swinger's abdomen area is heavily taped still.. surprised he's back so soon.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Gilberti distracts Konnan, Konnan turns around into a double flatliner.. Konnan is the first man out. Gilberti/Swinger/Diamond -v- BG James / The Truth now
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 BG James hits the pumphandle slam on Swinger, and he's the next to go. BG James / The Truth -v- Gilberti/Diamond
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 While the ref was distracted with Killings, Superkick on BG James by Simon Diamond and now James is out. The Truth -v- Gilberti / Diamond It should be noted Gilberti's been playing the instigator, and hasn't even been tagged in for a long period of time thus far.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 I turned away for a second, and Diamond was hit with something and was eliminated. I assume it was the scissors kick. The Truth -v- Gilberti is all that's left.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 David Young brought out a chair and sat down, and so Gilberti tried to hide behind him.. yatta yatta yatta.. Ref is busy trying to get Gilberti in the ring, Killings turns around and gets the chair thrown at his head.. Rolls Killings into the ring, 1.2.3 - Diamond/Swinger/Gilberti pick up the win. They tell him to lay the boots to The Truth, and he does - then 3LK jump in and lay the boots to Young as the rest of his team disappears backstage. They've used him again~! Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 1. Red Shirts fucking suck. Neither man left their feet, aside from Northcut's double-underhook piledriver, the entire match. Williamson (or whatever the goofy one's name is) throws the worst punches I've ever seen, and neither man really tried much. 2. Sabin/Shane sucked. Why? Because Michael Shane does. Why does TNA refuse to push the GOOD X-Division wrestlers (namely Lynn and Sabin) while the uber-shitty ones (Kazarian and Shane) that nobody gives two fucks about get the push? It's kind of sad that TNA is, allegedly, making the X-Division workers tone down the matches (because of Mantel) when the most acclaimed TNA show to date, the Super X Tournament, was nothing but fast-paced spotty wrestling. 3. 6-Man was okay. Mitchell promo was decent. 4. Oh FUCK...why does TNA refuse to get rid of this uncharismatic bastard?
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Great Jim Mitchell promo with the rest of the New Church.. Raven had challenged any member of the New Church, and it's revealed he'll fight Sinn tonight. ...they're throwing darts at Sinn's back.. which is getting sickening "ahh's" from the crowd... Well that was interesting. Kazarian/Daniels is up. I wonder if Kazarian is going to become the number one disciple of the fallen angel or something.

Again, I haven't seen much of them, but they seem like decent hosses with good power moves.
tpww7 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 So far the show sounds full of suck like I figured.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 While Kaza/Daniels is going on, they do a picture-in-picture as the entire Styles clan is out back awaiting for Russo to arrive (hopefully, as they're worried he's not coming.)
