I liked that with the episode though. What really makes Clark different. Lately they've done a better job of building Clark's character, ever since he went heel really.

Yeah, definitely. This season seems to be where the show has finally found its stride and figured out what it wants to be. Well, I guess that pretty much happened in season 2 once they started developing storyarcs that actually last for more than one episode... but they're doing a great job with it now in season 3.

It seems like Smallville turned the corner last year in "Rosetta" (the one with Christopher Reeve). They've been mostly on a tear since then (except for "Velocity", but that was still decent and contributed to the storyline). More Luthor magnificent bastardary = teh rule~!

So far this season people, what's been your favorite episode? I like "Perry", "Exile", "Phoenix", "Delete" and "Asylum".

Me too. If anything just for the way he dressed. Cool sunglasses, badass leather jacket and a Harley. Don't get better then that.

And the "birthmark on her cheek" remark in the first red kyrptonite episode made heel Clark too.

Yeah once they started dealing more with Clark's past is when it really started kicking ass. And as for my favorite ep this season would have to be the 2 parter at the start of the season, the with one with Perry White and the one were Lex thought he was losing his mind, you know the one before winter break. I'm bad with name titles.

Oh yeah.....the one before winter break was awesome too (Shattered).

BTW, the other eps you mentioned were ones on my list (Exile, Phoenix and Perry). I can't wait to see what happens to Lionel (John Glover rules it)

Like I said with Alicia, it would have been cool if she stayed "normal" for a few episodes and then went crazy down the road.

Yeah, that would've ruled. I agree that they should have kept her around for several episodes (kinda like they did with Adam).

I'm horrible with episode titles also. I loved the episode where the guys from the mental hospital conspired to get revenge on Clark. I also really enjoyed the episode where he got his super hearing. I always mark out when he gets a new power. The only thing left for him to get is ice breath (if they decide to give it to him) and flight, which I've been hearing since the start of the show that they won't give him

To be honest, I only know the episode titles because of TheWB.com.

For anyone who's interested, Amazon.com has put up the box art for Smallville- The Complete Second Season. The DVD set is scheduled to be released on May 25th with a MSRP of $59.98, but Amazon has it listed for $41.99.

Yeah it seems like they're coming up with a pretty interesting storyline with Clark's blood and everything.

I'm a little disappointed that Adam's still alive, he annoyed me

Which was the episode that closed out with Lex in a padded room and Johnny Cash's version of "Hurt" playing over it? Was that Asylum? I thought that scene was very well done/powerful.

"Shattered." I agree that the scene was well done. The rest of the episode was pretty good as well.

Pretty good episode tonight. I'm still interested to know what kind of deal Jonathan made with Jor-El.

Fuck, am I the only one who thinks that this show needs a big shakeup? Screw Lana "leaving for Paris" - KILL SOMEONE OFF ALREADY!

It just seems to be the same shit over and over again. When Chloe was going to be driven over the bridge and she called Clark, you could actually HEAR me rolling my eyes when she "passed out" just in time for him to show up and use his abilities.

Give me a fucking break.

I like last week's ep with Chole being bathed in that green stuff and everyone had to tell the truth around her. And was anyone else shocked that Pete kissed her and told her he loved her? I never would have guessed that. This could lead to either something very interesting with Chole and Pete or it could be a lame shakeup thing.

When are Pete and Clark going to get it on so Pete can die, since no one can know the secret.

I didn't like the Pete surprise. It was way too SUDDEN and there were no hints about it. Maybe it's just me, but the show as a whole is really blunt about what it does.

I just feel like I'm being strung along by the writers of this show. I swear, waiting for something with impact on this show is like watching a fight scene from Dragonball Z. It just drags on, and on, and on, and on, and on.............

I haven't watched the show all year so Clark saving people every episode doesn't bother me so much, yet.

But I also read the spoilers, and things get pretty interesting. So stick around.

Can you point me to said spoilers? Thanks.. :)

Whoa...that Julian thing was kinda shocking. Things are starting to get interesting.

I'm happy that we got our first real glimpse of Krypton tonight. If Lara is indeed good, then maybe Jor-El is as well.

But I was most impressed with John Glover's acting ability. God, that last scene with Lex was just so...awesome. The "mother" theme was a good one.
