Guest Black Tiger Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 In the battle royal for the IWGP Jr Title, JADO wins it? Out of all the guys in the Jr Division, they just had to put it on the worst of the bunch. What is Lyger thinking?
Dangerous A Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 He's not, hence the decision to let Jado win. I almost think Gedo would be a better choice, but even he is only one notch above Jado as far as a worker and that means he's only one notch above terrible.
Guest TheGame2705 Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 So Gedo and Jado ARE horrible like I thought? So I guess I'm not that unknowledgable when it comes to puro like everyone said.

I can't comment on whether you are knowledgeable in puro or not, but yes, Jado and Gedo are not good. At all. Gedo has stepped his game up in terms of work in the last 3 years or so, but he isn't even very good. He just became watchable. Jado on the other hand is downright horrendous. For all the grief Gedo has gotten, Jado deserves 10 times more.
Ace309 Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 I don't think they're as bad as everyone seems to think, personally. Granted, I haven't seen a great deal of their stuff, but in the handful of 2000-2002 I've seen from them they seem like perfectly acceptable workers. Of course, "perfectly acceptable" isn't justification for winning the IWGP Junior title.

Hmmm...

Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 18, 2003 Report Posted October 18, 2003 Ugh who handed off the WWF crack pipe to New Japan. I mean seriously what good can come of this?
Guest Black Tiger Posted October 18, 2003 Report Posted October 18, 2003 Nothing, unless NJPW wants to give El Samurai one last run of glory, and who in their right mind would give Samuari a chance in hell against just about any of the NJPW Jr Roster not named Jado? and as luck would have it Jado's V1 is against Samuari
Ace309 Posted October 18, 2003 Report Posted October 18, 2003 Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the battle royal win put the belt on Jado without necessarily having him go over anyone? So the Sammy theory seems to make sense. Harm no one except Jado.
