Guest Anglesault Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 Just because.... WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! Like I said earlier, this is 100X better than 97. I have never been happier as a sports fan. 150-1 odds at the beginning of the year. I only wish I dropped a hundy on them. I could use the 15,000. Hush. We're planning Weaver's demise.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 thats about the ugliest championship shirt I've ever seen.. *gazes fondly at his Ravens SB XXXV Champions T-Shirt*
Sandman9000 Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 The whole team is the scapegoat. Every single one of them failed. Some people just were more significant to the failure then others.
the pinjockey Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 :note to self never ever ever piss off Sandman: AS, I am sure you could take a nice piss on the corpse or something. I am worried now, though, because I see George making a run at Colon, Vazquez, and another big pitcher. I don't want him being the black hole of FA this year.
Sandman9000 Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 Hey Kahran, wanna change my name to Jeff Weaver Sucks And Must Die?
Guest MentallyNormal Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 The old man in the sea thought he had that marlin. But the old man in the sea whom talked about the great Yankee's of old had no more to muster. For the great Marlin of the Sea pulled him into the deep waters and drown that bastard!! Then for extra measure he spear the old man straight threw the heart thus killing him. The Great Marlin celebrated in gleee!!!
Guest Anglesault Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 . Weaver didn't lose the series, Yes he did. He sent a game that the Yankees were arguably in the driver's seat for (They were certainly threatening harder than Florida) and flushed it down the shitter. IMHO, This series is tied if nor for him.
Sandman9000 Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 :note to self never ever ever piss off Sandman: Show me a good loser and I'll show you a person who will never win anything in their goddamn life.
Guest Choken One Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 The whole team is the scapegoat. Every single one of them failed. Some people just were more significant to the failure then others. The thing is, the SECOND Weaver steped up the fans smiled knowing no matter what they had their fucking scapegoat no matter what. Weaver played two innings and is wrongly accused of losing the series when it was the inepitude of the bullpen outside of Rivera's brilliance and the inability to SCORE runs with runners on base that killed the Yankees...not Weaver.
Guest Anglesault Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 :note to self never ever ever piss off Sandman: AS, I am sure you could take a nice piss on the corpse or something. Not good enough. Maybe as Sandman is cutting his head off, I can kneecap him.

Just as long as he stays away from Vlad..all is well..
bob_barron Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 I don't fucking believe this. THE ONE TIME I ROOT FOR THE YANKEES THE ONE TIME THE ONE FUCKING TIME ::watches 2001 World Series DVD to feel better::

No, the Yankees hitting squandered it away such as tonight failing to produce runs...THAT is what cost them the god damn series.

Mik Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
the pinjockey Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 No Marvin, Vazquez is to be mine this offseason. MINE MINE MINE

Bored Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 No Marvin, Vazquez is to be mine this offseason. MINE MINE MINE Well he's still the Expos actually...he's arbitration eligible.
bob_barron Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 I'm playing Another One Bites the Dust in honour of Jeff Weaver. The Yankees have either been World Series Champs or lost to the World Series champs every year since 1998
the pinjockey Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 Quiet you. Mr. Technicality They'll trade him for a good enough offer. Which better be made.
Guest Anglesault Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 Weaver played two innings and is wrongly accused of losing the series when it was the inepitude of the bullpen Of which he is a member. Weaver is the only guy to throw a game away. Even Hammond and Contreras gave the team time to recover (which they almost did)
Mik Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Marlins have never lost a playoff series!
Sandman9000 Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 While we're at it, take the title of Mr. October the FUCK away from Jeter. 0-4 when it counted, Game 6. World Series, 1HR, 2RBI. .360 batting average doesn't mean shit if the rest of the team can't do shit either. And the only Yank error in Game 6. He doesn't deserve that title.
bob_barron Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 The Marlins are the only team in all 4 major sports to have never lost a postseason series. (Not counting teams that have never made the playoffs)
Guest Anglesault Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 . Weaver didn't lose the series, Yes he did. Mark my words. Sure, it's a prediction, but that was the only time in all four losses that I thought the Yanks had a shot. Sure, the Boone strikeout that let Weaver in the game t begin with helps nothing, but Boone is on the list as well.

Even though he has proven to be clutch for the last 8 years? Reggie Jackson Had off nights too...
bob_barron Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 I know it Mik. and it fucking sucks. Fuck the Marlins. Fuck Loria. I wish they had gone on strike this year
Mik Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 I'm a prophet...check the Marlins wild card thread.... whoooooooooooo!!!!
