The thing is, the SECOND Weaver steped up the fans smiled knowing no matter what they had their fucking scapegoat no matter what. Weaver played two innings and is wrongly accused of losing the series when it was the inepitude of the bullpen outside of Rivera's brilliance and the inability to SCORE runs with runners on base that killed the Yankees...not Weaver. Mark my words. Sure, it's a prediction, but that was the only time in all four losses that I thought the Yanks had a shot.
