haVoc 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2003 The WWE creative team (minus Stephanie McMahon) went to Louisville on this week to look at OVW talent. Everyone checked out the OVW wrestle-around on Wednesday morning while the Smackdown creative team also stayed for the Wednesday night TV taping. WWE Smackdown finished with a 3.3 rating and a 5 share last night. The rating is solid considering the heavy competition it faced from the Red Sox/Yankees baseball game on FOX. Credit: 1wrestling.com Word is that Triple H is getting over in Hollywood as having a good work ethic and good screen presense. The feeling seems to be that he will never be a leading man like the Rock, but that he could get regular work in Hollywood. Credit: PWTorch.com At least the SD team tries to get to know the up & coming talent unlike Steph and the Raw team. No wonder Raw is a mess and Steph blows off the Heat guys. As if Triple H's ego isn't big enough now he'll have Hollywood to add to it. "Hey Dad.... Jericho & RVd may pop the crowds but they could never be Hollywood stars. Told ya, I'm the real draw around here!"
Guest PowerPB13 Report post Posted October 18, 2003 Hopefully he'll STAY in Hollywood. -Patrick

AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2003 Damn...hopefully the SD viewers will catch on and the rating will sink over the next few weeks.
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted October 19, 2003 From the Torch: Smackdown this week drew a 3.3 rating, down from last week's 3.6. That's no surprise since the Yankee-Red Sox game seven was on against it, not to mention Survivor. The Stephanie McMahon segment wasn't a ratings disaster, as the rating dropped just 0.1 for her segment, but the show never rose above the 3.4 peak rating it drew before her segment. Gee, what was the segment just before Steph's interview? *Thinks* *Realizes* But it just can't be! It goes everything against what the Sportzzzz Entertainment minions tell me what is supposed to work in wrestling!
SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2003 Stephanie couldn't be bothered to go down to OVW with the rest of the creative team? Just like she can't be bothered to watch Heat? Or just like how she must write herself into every major storyline on Smackdown? Or how the writing has been in the freaking toilet since she took over? Just how is she qualified to be a creative writer anyways...

Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted October 19, 2003 Just how is she qualified to be a creative writer anyways Do you even have to ask? She's daddy's little girl. Her Birth certificate says "Father: Vincent K. McMahon" Thats why she is qualified.
SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2003 In which case I'm going to alter my birth certificate so my father is Vincent K. McMahon and then I'm going to show up in CT and pretend to be the bastard son of Vince McMahon and demand a job writing for the company. That would probably also get me on the Wrestlemania card
