Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 21, 2003 Or just have 4 Survivor Series Matches...Sew up the angles and start new ones...This is one of the problems with Raw right now... Too many damn people in the same damn storyline one way or another...
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2003 HHH and Ric Flair vs. Bill Goldberg, Handicap match Chris Benoit vs. Brock Lesnar Cena vs Angle, Gimmick (I don't know... Rapper Chain Match?) Booker T, RVD, Lance Storm, Hurricane, Rosey vs. Jericho, Christian, Steiner, Orton, Batista Shawn Michaels vs. Mark Henry Rey/Kidman vs. Sakoda/Yang Guerreros vs. WGTT US Title match (Show vs Newly face turned Matt Hardy, a move I don' support.. yet). However this leaves off 2 matches involving McMahons, so.... let's put Henry and Michaels in the 5 vs 5 match (replacing Rosey and Batista) and take off the CW tag match. Fökai 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2003 Brock, Cena, Triple H and Jericho vs. Underrtaker, Angle, Goldberg and Michaels You take away a LOT of money matches that would sell the PPV otherwise. It's fine to do this with the upper mid-carders and such (with a ME'er inserted to sell the match), but that's as far as you can without sacrificing the card. Cena, Rhyno, Jericho, Steiner & Orton v. Michaels, Angle, RVD, Booker & ____.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 21, 2003 if you want that you do it this way War Games Style Naturally... Team Raw Jericho, Booker, RVD, Dudleyz Team Smackdown Benoit, Cena, Taker, WGTT You get 10 good workers and save the "big" names...
Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 21, 2003 Wait are you saying have a Survior Series 1995 mix n Match type deal? Speaking of which, how did they set up that match anyways?
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2003 Monsoon, the people's president, thought it would be something the fans wanted to see. I don't believe there was any formal angle around it involing who got on what team, just Gorilla announcing the match as a Wildcard match. The main idea was to get Ahmed over (bodyslamming Yokozuna again, being buddies with Shawn Michaels apparently).
Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 21, 2003 I wasn't sure if they had a drawing or anything like that... It was a hella great concept that somewhat worked to an extent.
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2003 I always enjoyed the spot where Michaels has Sid set someone up for the Superkick, and as usual, Michaels hits the big man... but this time he just "oh well" shurgs it off.

It showed how much he didn't care for Sid and how "cool" he was...
Guest Goodear Report post Posted October 21, 2003 if you want that you do it this way War Games Style Naturally... Team Raw Jericho, Booker, RVD, Dudleyz Team Smackdown Benoit, Cena, Taker, WGTT You get 10 good workers and save the "big" names... I just don't see the reason heels and faces would team up with each other just over brand pride. It would also confuse the fanbase (who can't possibly care about which team these guys are on) as far as the heat is concerned. Mixing the teams across accomplishes the same thing of having fresh matchups without being confusing to the viewers. So we'd have... Jericho, Cena, WGTT, Christian vs. Benoit, Booker, RVD, Dudleys ... which I think opens a lot more doors than your scenario.
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2003 You may remember that heels and faces alike saved Stephanie form the invaders from Raw back in 2002... but then again you may not, since that was never really mentioned again.
