But as well as that, I have questions for you all regarding these articles namely... Should I change up franchises now and come back to The 13th later or would you prefer I just continue the way I am? Death Stars: Yay or Meh? People (well most people anyways) watch the movies for the grusome death scenes in the first place, why not have a little score for how good/gory/creative they are? Good review as usual, just a couple of notes though, 1st, exactly when is it said that Debbie is knocked up? I've only seen the TV version of the film in the last few years and I don't recall any mention of that. When Jason supposedly killed the biker gang leader (can't recall his name) the first time, wasn't he hitting him with the machete repeatedly? Looks like someone messed up here since he came back to save Chris at the end. Just to be an ass, when Shelly falls out of the closet with the knife in his head, you should have said something like "DEATH NUMBER 4!, never mind Shelly was just fucking around" It wasn't a hot poker up the ass, it was a hot poker in the gut, but the SK reference was damn funny. I don't know why, but I'm taking a cue from Jaws in that regard... by which I mean in that movie that were a couple of false scares right? But you only ever heard the 'dum-dum' when the shark was actually there. I don't like to tease you in that way. Why? ... I dunno. From what I've heard, the show has a very small tie in to the films, part III in particular. The show, for those of you who weren't aware of Friday the 13th, The TV Series, was about an antique shop full of items that were considered to be "unlucky". Each episode revolved around the events following the purchase of any of the items, in a weekly "Tales from the Crypt" esque show. The tie is is this.... Shelley from Part III purchased Jason's infamous hockey mask in that antique shop. Personally, I can't wait until "Camp Crystal Lake" comes to fruition. It's a TV series that's supposed to be on the air next year. It was announced at the same time as the Friday the 13th Paramount Box Set at a convention by Paramount execs on September 19th in Las Vegas. Dames Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
