Ok genius. Then please explain why these teriffic ideas are drawing so well right now. I mean your ideas are pretty much the same as what the WWE is putting out. So why aren't they drawing the big ratings you think they are?

dont even try to tell me there is another austin or rock lurking on the talent roster right now. the only thing they have remotely close is cena and he's not even that great of a worker.

Guerrero. He's massively over for no other reason than he's extremely charasimatic and fun to watch. Just think if they took him all the way and pushed him to the top. The US title for a month and getting beat by the Big Show is well, the opposite of that.

 

Jericho could be another Shawn Michaels. He's got everything it takes, but WWE never saw it and never had a clue on how to use him. You could go back as far as Fully Loaded 2000. He stole the show with HHH, and what happened? He was stuck feuding with Kane and X-pac. Look at the last couple months. It's not as if he's been playing second fiddle to HHH. Because he's gone and nothing has changed. Now there's no top heel whatsoever. He had a semi feud this summer with Michaels that didn't go anywhere because Orton was Shawn's real enemy. Now he's been feuding for months with someone who can't even wrestle. If the WWE wants to try to make Jerichos perception changed, the first thing he needs is a big match with a clean win. That's just the beginning.

 

Angle could have been the next Bret Hart. All they needed to do was feed this guy inferior wrestlers back to back, and just give him one title reign that was long and worthwhile. How hard is that? Yet he spent too much time being a goofy character and being a transitional champion. Twice for Brock which is just mind boggling. It's probably too late in his career now.

 

But there's Benoit. I already covered him, but I'll do it again. The fans were willing to accept him at least three times. The first time he got injured. The second and third time, they just fucked him over completely. He does have in ring charisma, people do like him, and he's actually got decent mic skills. About as good as Bret Hart had in 92 and 93.

Also have you had access to the backstage area RVD420? Just cause you "almost" got in as a writer doesn't mean you know more about the business, it just means you can write pretty well according to their standards. Face it, you know just as much as we do so don't pull this holier then thou bullshit on us. Fact is, some of our storylines are not only original but pretty good(Check out the Fantasy Folder or the EWR Forums on Ryland's site for proof) but we choose to use them as a fun outlet rather then trying to get onto the writing staff.

guerrero is one of my favorites, but i dont think they will ever push him hard enough to reach austin's level. his in ring is the best in the company, his promo work is solid, as well as his crowd interaction. the only problem is the stereotypical mexican gimic. if they toned down the accent and made him more serious he would have a chance, but it would still be a slim one.

 

jericho is great too, but we've seen how much faith they have in him ala the lucy the dog angle.

 

angle is really good all around, but he as a person just cant play the kind of character that wwe needs for the next superstar. angle is really good, but kinda corny regardless of what role he's in.

 

benoit is a workrate god, but thats all. people pop for his matches, but they dont really have a choice, just look at him out there. unfortunatly he will never be big because he just cant talk and doesn't have charisma. you know vince, man.
