Guest Choken One Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Edge should trim the beard. A goatee is good, but not a full on beard. A beard works for the intended nature of the character... Lone wolf outcast...not the fucking California Blond Beach Boy he evolved into...
Guest The Old Me Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 I'm indifferent to Edge's beard.
Lil' Bitch Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Lone wolf outcast...not the fucking California Blond Beach Boy he evolved into... Isn't that what he was though at first? You know, before Gangrel and Christian came along and got him to talk?

You know, before Gangrel and Christian came along and got him to talk? Yes...they wanted him to be mute. His reaction to it on WOL was classic to. He was like "Mute? What the fuck?"

Lone wolf outcast...not the fucking California Blond Beach Boy he evolved into... Well, when he comes back, and he is the character he was orginally when he came (which I thought was a great character), the beard works. But for everyday life, when he's still recovering, trimmed beard looks better.

But you're not the one that can withold sex from him and make him sleep on the couch. He's got his priorities straight.......
Guest Choken One Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 and it's not even that big of a beard...My beard is twice that thick anyways... Tell Edge to go Savage with the beard...it'll be GREAT.
Lil' Bitch Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 I liked him better when he was The Tortured Soul. A time when he wouldn't say a thing, now he can't shut the hell up.
Guest Choken One Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Which was the lone Wolf... I still am confused on how Sable got him to be his partner at Slam 1998 when he seemingly never spoke or did anything....
Guest The Old Me Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 He was just a mystery partner (except for Sable) from what I remember.
JN News Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 I liked him better when he was The Tortured Soul. A time when he wouldn't say a thing, now he can't shut the hell up. Me too, bro. I marked for the Tortured Soul, everytime he competed.
CanadianChick Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 He can play either character pretty well. But for him to go to the top, he has to have a combination of both characters. He has to be serious, but he can't be mute.
Guest Choken One Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 He was just a mystery partner (except for Sable) from what I remember. Yes he was a mystery partner but how did Sable go about convincing him to be his partner? Up to that Point, Edge had yet to make his debut and all we knew about him was that he was a brooding outcast...

Me thinks Edge got lucky, lol.
Lil' Bitch Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 I miss him hanging out in the crowd. That was cool.
JN News Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 I miss him hanging out in the crowd. That was cool. Yeah, I miss his orginal theme music.
Guest JMA Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 I too miss the "old" Edge. He had a better coat then as well. I wish WWE hadn't turned him into "super-heroic" Edge.

He has to be serious, but he can't be mute. Being mute worked for Sting and he went to the top. I'd rather see Edge glare at somebody and turn his back on them than cut a promo
Guest Dmann2000 Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 If there's anyone you could recreate the Sting 97 angle with, it's Edge Make him chase after Brock- too bad he won't be ready for WM XX though.
Guest THE MIGHTY THOR Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Edge looks like Shaggy from Scooby-doo.
Guest Korrosive Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 NM, I just went to the website and it was there.

He was often seen in the crowd watching people. And I remember him jumping Marc Mero around that time to. He just came through the crowd and attacked him out of nowhere.
Guest Plushy Al Logan Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Foley = John Tenta Edge = Mutated chipmunk
Art Sandusky Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 I still say Stephanie needs to lose those bangs.
