Elix Skipper in WWE dark match

Recommended Posts

Elix Skipper lost to Horshu of UPW in a WWE dark match on 10/28 in Atlanta, GA before the taping of SmackDown! (which will air tomorrow). According to RajahWWF.com's report of the show, during the bout, Elix blew his signature ropewalk huracanrana and eventually was pinned following a modified powerslam.

Modified for maximum effectiveness, you mean!

I'm sure Elix was feeling this one in the morning! Oucherz!

Didn't they do that with Jimmy Yang too though?

I doubt he's going to sign with them as TNA's thinking about giving him another run in Triple X compared to the WWE treatment.

His chances of being signed probably aren't that good after botching his big spot. I don't know what it is with Skipper and botched spots... almost like Kazarian and botched spots....

Good for Elix. I hope he gets another run at the X Division Title though. His pound for pound thing could have been good. Any one know why he hasn't been on?

Nothing can be worse than when he almost killed himself against AJ in week 6 or 7.

Horshu isn't an indy guy. He's on a development contract and is working house shows.

Right. He WAS an indy guy.

Amazing Red was injured in Japan and will be out of action for several months.

Low Ki is also in Japan. He recently left ROH.
