Slayer Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 I thought about this while making a post in the TNA folder... At Halloween Havoc '95, Hogan and Wight had their monster truck match, and it culminated with Hogan "accidentally" shoving Wight off the top of the supposedly tall building to his death... if death lasts ten minutes I never actually saw the event, but how did they do it? Was it not really that high up (i.e. they lied where they were)? Was there a platform for Wight to safely land on? Was it a camera trick?
Downhome Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 There was a trick to it? I always thought that he really did fall into the river, and simply made his way back into the building.

It was a sort of camera trick: Wight simply fell off one of the ledges of Cobo Hall that wasn't directly over the arena's edge. As my Handy ASCII Diagram ™ explains: ___ <----Wight 'fell off' here | <----and landed here. --------- |<------------this ledge goes 70 ft down to the concrete. *covers ears* LALALALALALALALALA *uncovers ears* Yep, that Giant sure was an ungodly beast alright. He must have been feeding from his fathers spirit.
Slickster Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 My diagram failed to come out OK when posted, apparently.

Downhome Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 SANDWICH OF DOOM or DOUBLE PENETRATION OF MILD AGONY I'll remember that night for as long as I live. When it happened, I just sat there in shock, I couldn't believe the WrestleCrap that I was seeing right before my eyes! It was so fucked up, I actually marked out for it, heh.
