bob_barron 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 Because Vince books his match as the most important match on card. Because most people want to watch them! So that explains why Wrestlemania did the lowest buyrate since Wrestlemania XIII?

Guest FearInAHandfulOfDust Report post Posted October 30, 2003 Because Vince books his match as the most important match on card. Because most people want to watch them! So that explains why Wrestlemania did the lowest buyrate since Wrestlemania XIII? What was the best WM? X7! Did it have a high profile Vince Mc Mahon match, just as high as last WM? Wasn't WM X7 the highest drawing as well? How do you explain that?

MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 As per some Smackdown spoilers..(not really that terrible of a spoiler) Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Undertaker isn't going to be on Smackdown anymore up until the PPV. Im halfway wondering if he isn't getting the gimmick change and showing up as "Deadman" Undertaker at the PPV.

SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 If Hogan vs Vince at WM 19 was watchable, than I expect this will be better.
Guest ligerbomb03 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 The Japanese mafia angle is about the only thing that interests me on Smackdown right now. And Undertaker vs. Vinny Mac might be good but it certainly won't be great.
Anakin Flair 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 Oh, there will be a ton of interference. This is going to be one of the most over booked matches ever. Think they can dig out Marty Jannetty from whatever rock he's under and have him rise to the ceiling in biker gear? Choked on my hamburger when I read that. Guest Bret Hit Man Hart Report post Posted October 31, 2003 You cant just say the match wont be great until you have watched the match and then you can tell us what you think. Vince Mcmahon and Undertaker have got a hell of a lot of work to do.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2003 At this rate. McMahon / Undertaker will be runner-up main event.
Guest Bret Hit Man Hart Report post Posted October 31, 2003 This match is going to be the main event because its no way it will be Goldberg vs HHH I mean come on you remember that match at Unforgiven? Its this match and its all over the WWE.com so its taking the spotlight and it better live up to the hype
Guest Megatron Report post Posted October 31, 2003 Just about every VM match I've ever seen has at least been entertaining. Not from a workrate standpoint, of course, but I guess they are guilty pleasures. I expect this match to be no different. Even the VM/Steph match was fun. jester 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2003 You know what? Unless they are determined to break the Guiness World Record for Stupid Run-ins (which is possible), I think the Vince/Taker match will be ok. If Steph/Vince wasn't as shitty as we all thought, this should be cake. The real problem is IT SHOULDN'T BE HAPPENING IN THE FIRST PLACE. People say Taker put Brock over. I say he didn't. It should be established that this new monster owns Taker, and that's proven over a series of wins. Instead, Taker is probably going to give a win that could build someone else up to Vince McMahon. No wonder nobody is drawing.
