They have to elevate someone at WMXX, don't they? Vince can't be completely insane yet. Bret and Shawn stole the show 10 years ago. The ending was kind of like the company giving the torch to Bret.

 

WWE rarely ever disappoints at WM. I think I'm starting to have hope again for Benoit.

As long as Vince's big push to get Bret to be at Mania is on, there may be hope for Benoit yet.

 

Of course, we'll know when Vince has given up on getting Bret: When they do the match, Lesnar puts Benoit in the Sharpshooter, and Vince orders the bell to be rung to end the match.

Benoit will get the belt someday. I don't know when or for how long, but he will get what he deserves. Honestly they should turn him heel again and let him be the bad ass he was when he fueded with Jericho. The chair shot to a defenseless Jericho who was trapped under the garage door was one of the coolest and most brutal things a heel has done in the WWE/WWF in years.

Seriously, I gave up a while back when Eddie got shafted into a feud with The Bashams and Chavo so let me warn you O' Rudo that if the WWE couldn't get behind that whirlwind of popularity what chance does Benoit have? NONE! NONE AT ALL! BWA HA HA HA HA!
