Steve J. Rogers Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 Anything interesting? Big snubs, big no-shows, ect Steve
MDH257 Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 Nothing Noteworthy. Just the standard dragging out the stars and showing clips. There wasn't enough attention paid to any particuar show for you to notice if someone wasn't there. NBC's Special was a lot better.
WrestlingDeacon Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 I wanted to watch that too and forgot it was on. NBC's was ok for the most part. My favorite segment being Robert Culp and Bill Cosby having a conversation of in-jokes and personal slang that no one understood. ABC's I thought was rather blah.
Slayer Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 What strikes me as funny with these 75th anniversary specials is that they're really 50th anniversary specials of the TV-era, and most of the important radio-era stuff from the first 25 years (like WW2) gets no-sold.
