Kahran Ramsus Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 Merchandise isn't a good representation of how big a draw someone is. Like Scott Keith always says 'Gimmicks sell shirts, characters sell tickets.'

Kahran Ramsus Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 12 others = more viewers than Benoit They should. How much of a push did they get compared to Benoit in the same period? You have to take that into account. Benoit drew an exceptionally high number given how he's been treated. RVD didn't.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 12 others - and only 6 on his brand. Two of which are McMahons and thus have the world centered around them. Two of which are not there anymore (Hogan and Gowan). And two of which who are the highest priority when it comes to actual competitors (Angle and Lesnar). And higher than many of YOUR faves, and in the case of Booker and Van Dam, WELL higher. Oh that's SOOO bad. Also keep in mind that this was from late May to early October when he could hardly have been considered an upper midcarder. And it's nice of you to edit your posts after you ran your mouth with completely incorrect nonsense. But not soon enough to beat the "edited by" line! Just admit you made yourself look foolish.

Uh, I think I did when I said you were right. And those 12 are all on SD! And who cares if 2 of them aren't there anymore? They still drew more than he did. In Peg-Leg's case, a LOT more.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Name the 12. And keep in mind I meant PER SEGMENT. Of course someone with 12 segments will get a higher number than someone with 3.

Like Scott Keith always says 'Gimmicks sell shirts, characters sell tickets.' A character is a gimmick.... Ummmm... no. A character would be Austin, Rock, HHH, Brock, Angle, Benoit, Eddy, Jericho, Christian, Booker T A gimmick would be Hurricane, Rosey, or Rico
