Tawren 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2003 I missed it, how did they kill off John's character? Car accident No, he "collapsed in aisle 3", Bridgette's (blond) exact words.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted November 6, 2003 Oh...I must've missed that part. Did they say he had a heart related death, or was it just implied with that line.
Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted November 6, 2003 It was just implied
Guest Choken One Report post Posted November 6, 2003 Yeah, they just did the Collasped in Aisle three line (not sure if there was a signifance to "THREE") Maybe it refered to how he died on the 3rd show?
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2003 I'm pretty sure they didn't say how he died...least I didn't hear it
Guest Choken One Report post Posted November 6, 2003 They didn't say HOW but where and the circumstances. If he collasped...then we can only infer it was Heart related or Brain related. I'm pretty sure the writers knew that the viewers would assume a heart attack. Quick question...why do tv shows always kill off the Dad with the whole "Dad went to get some milk" plot line? Dawson Creek did it too...
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2003 Garner was very convincing as a grandfather. I don't know how the show's going to continue (comedy...drama), but he was very good
Guest Choken One Report post Posted November 6, 2003 Dramedy for the start (the healing process) then I'm sure The show will Focus on Garner's interacton with the grandkids.
