Guest JumpinJackFlash Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 Definately Bobby Heenan. He could bump well for his age, and he hyped up his clients like they were the biggest threats in wrestling, even Lex Luger!(That was when he was a commentator) He cut great promos, and had a great gimmick being known as the Weasel. He's very funny, and very unpredictable. Heenan also made an excellent commentator alongside Gorrilla Monsoon.
Slingshot Suplex Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 As a manager,I always preferred Jim Cornette. No slam to Heenan but I was rarely ever drawn into anything he did as a manager whereas I could watch Cornette all the time.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 Heenan. He could get the BIGGEST waste of space heat just by doing his routine. Plus he knew to never overshadow the talent.
Guest Corino 1000 Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 As a manager I loved Freddie Blassie............ RIP
cbacon Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 Cornette. He was an excellent mouth peice at getting guys over
Guest Fook Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 The Brain Just an unbelievable heat machine. Pairing any waste of space with him would instantly get them over.
Guest Plushy Al Logan Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Heenan is the best manager, but I liked Hart's guys better.
Guest BAR Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Bobby definately gets my vote. Especially after reading the book, great stuff.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Heenan was always my favorite especially because he was hilarous and could bump. Corny was a close second though.
