Steviekick 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2003 From blabbermouth.net FOZZY, the brainchild of former WWE champion Chris Jericho and ex-STUCK MOJO mastermind Rich Ward, have announced two special dates in New York City prior to commencing work on their third album, tentatively due in the spring. The details are as follows: Dec. 11 – New York, NY @ Tribeca Rock Club Dec. 12 - New York, NY @ Tribeca Rock Club As previously reported, FOZZY have decided to do away with their "SPINAL TAP of '80s hairspray metal scene" gimmick and record an album consisting 100% of original material. The band's follow-up to last year's "Happenstance", which contained four original songs alongside a host of classic metal covers, will be recorded in Atlanta and Tampa studios. In addition to continuing work on the material for their next full-length effort, the band will participate in "a huge upcoming CD compilation release" with a new song that is "about to be recorded," according to Jericho. No further information is available at this time.
