Guest Choken One Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Chavo? God No. Chavo is nothing without Eddy...He is run of mill cruiserweight. Matt Hardy would have been great if he wasn't jumping ship...
LucharesuFan619 Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 In my fantasy world, Lesnar would battle Samoa Joe or at WM, but since that won't happen, I'm pressing for Benoit. Cena, Angle, Eddie G., or Mattitude (if he turns face) would also be fine with me.
Kahran Ramsus Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 If they get Storm from RAW in exchange for Hardy they can build him up as a serious heel challenger and use him.
Guest Choken One Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 I still wonder if McMahon will give Mania an Extra Hour or two. He gave 2000 4 hours...as did Mania 4 and 5 (i think)... XX should get 4.
Guest Choken One Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 If they get Storm from RAW in exchange for Hardy they can build him up as a serious heel challenger and use him. Storm? It'll have to take MASSIVE pushing to get him to be a convincing heel... WCW pretty much had to give Storm every god damn cheap heel tactic known to man to get him over.
Guest wildpegasus Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Odds are Benoit will be fighting Lesnar at the Rumble for the title. Benoit vs Angle as champ will probably be happening at Mania.
Guest Choken One Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 That seems to be the general consensus...with Brock expected to fight Goldberg for whatever reason. This of course leaves Eddy in the open as we should expected. All I ask is for Mysterio/Dragon.
Kahran Ramsus Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 That seems to be the general consensus...with Brock expected to fight Goldberg for whatever reason. Supposedly so Goldberg can put Brock over huge, but since this is Goldberg he will probably refuse. I should probably add that there is one way that Angle/Benoit would greatly interest me, and that is if they made it a 60 Minute Iron Man for the WWE Title. I know they just had one between Brock & Angle, so it won't happen, but the audience has been trained since early 2000 to regard Angle & Benoit as the two best technical wrestlers in the company and they are the two that would most benefit from going the 60.
Kahran Ramsus Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Another Wrestlemania match I would love to see, and would be gold if they did it properly, would be Spanky & London defeating Benjamin & Haas to win the Tag Titles.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Didnt Mysterio vs Dragon occur?
Kahran Ramsus Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Didnt Mysterio vs Dragon occur? For about 2 minutes.
Austin3164life Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 The three main events should be as follows: Angle vs. Benoit (w/Bret as ref; Iron Man) Brock vs. Goldberg Cena vs. The Rock
Michrome Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Cena as a babyface was over huge tonight, and come next Thursday he'll be mega over. Cena-Brock is the money match with Cena as a face.
Austin3164life Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Cena as a babyface was over huge tonight, and come next Thursday he'll be mega over. Cena-Brock is the money match with Cena as a face. Cena should solidify his Main Event status by a huge win at a huge event over a legend (vs. The Rock at 'Mania). Cena/Brock would be a great main event at Summerslam, assuming it isn't like their Backlash encounter.
Guest Goodear Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Supposedly so Goldberg can put Brock over huge, but since this is Goldberg he will probably refuse. Uhm, maybe its me but hasn't Goldberg been pretty much a model citizen since coming to work in WWE? He sells for everyone now and has done a job or two so why would you expect him to go all rouge with Brock of all people?
Kahran Ramsus Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Cena should solidify his Main Event status by a huge win at a huge event over a legend (vs. The Rock at 'Mania). It doesn't look like Rock will be available though.
pochorenella Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 The three main events should be as follows: Angle vs. Benoit (w/Bret as ref; Iron Man) Brock vs. Goldberg Cena vs. The Rock I love that idea, but I'd also love The Rock vs. HBK. Also, Austin is reportedly getting in shape for whatever reason. Austin vs. Hogan at WM maybe?
Guest BionicRedneck Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Cena is the fucking shits.
Lord of The Curry Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Agreed. I don't know if he'll be any good by the time Mania rolls around, but there's no fucking way that the guy can get "WrestleMania 20 Main Event" good that quick.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 If Rock faces anyone you just know it's gonna be Randy Orton. 3rd Generation Superstars Collide~~!!!!!
Guest Anglesault Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Supposedly so Goldberg can put Brock over huge, but since this is Goldberg he will probably refuse. Uhm, maybe its me but hasn't Goldberg been pretty much a model citizen since coming to work in WWE? He sells for everyone now an Well, he never sold for Jericho, but what the hell can you do.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Didn't he sell for Jericho at Bad Blood? I'm pretty sure he did.
Guest Anglesault Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Didn't he sell for Jericho at Bad Blood? I'm pretty sure he did. Didn't he pull an Edge? Have the shoulder get worked on all match and finish with a spear (and Jackhammer)? And he flat out refused to sell any of Jericho's attacks in the feud.
The Amazing Rando Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 shouldn't we also be asking something like "Who Will Win The Rumble?!" sure...it can be meaningless in the long run (WM 2000 for example) but if they actually used the Rumble to start MAJOR WMXX HYPE ...which they should do this year and keep the Rumble winner and champion the same for those two months... then you need to start thinking ahead of just March...and worry about what Vince & Co. could fuck up until then.
