I just gotta say(Althought it was mentioned on Page 1 I think) Shenmue 1 and 2 are my faovrite games ever made! They, to me, are the best games that can be made. I consider them excellent, and I am in no way going to berate you. I am just saying those games kicked my fucking ass.

It helps if you add a disappointing game to this thread.

I'd also like to add, Tales of Eternia (a.k.a. Tales of Destiny 2 in the US). This was a good game, but man, was it severely easy and not deserving of the name Tales of Destiny 2. I beat it in 10:02 minutes. I thought I still had a ways to go when I beat the end boss, but it turned out to be the final battle.

When an RPG is THAT short, I'm kinda disappointed.

I'm not too hip to the new video game scene so I'm stuck in the past......

- Earthworm Jim 2 was a major dissapointment for me. There wasn't something very cool and very special about the first game. The second one seemed more concerned with "humor" than a balanced gameplay experience. It was just too gimicky

- Donkey Kong 64. Way too long and way too repetitve. I never did finish it.

- Luigi's Mansion. A friend of mine bought this and finished it the next day.

- Wrestlemania X-8. This bombed like Hiroshima

- I'll open up a can of worms and suggest Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. I mean, yeah the game was REALLY good and REALLY hard; but it was totally different than the first. There's a reason this game is rarely ever mentioned in the chronicles of video game history and is regarded as the lesbian sister of the Zelda franchise. Newer gamers might be lead to believe that the series went straight from Zelda I to the SNES' A Link to the Past. Anyone agree with me here? Weren't some you a little dissapointed when you cracked open Zelda II and found out it wasn't EXACTLY like the first game? I know I was

I don't know how you couldn't know what it was like before you played it. It was delayed FOREVER and screen shots were fairly easily found for months beforehand.

It did suck, though.

Not Zelda on Cd-I bad, but it was pretty bad.

...Rogue Squadron III is pretty disappointing.

The second Zelda sucks so bad. They made it a fucking side scroller. It's impossible to hit things with your sword. And you get killed sooo fuckin easy.

KISS Pinball. It had KISS and it had Pinball, and it was voted the 4th worst Playstation game of all time. And I preordered this!

Hah, I actually remember the real thing. The Community Center where I went to daycare had it, and even by that point it was probably already a decade old.

I saw KISS Pinball at the GameShop across the street from the end of my street and it only costs like $1.75 now

Zelda 2 was fun you fools. It was just different.

I was disappointed in it too but I was 7 years old and was dying for another Zelda like the first. It's not as good, but it's not bad either.

Gotta throw in the Bouncer too. From what I remember from a friend of mine, that the teaser/ demo video had shown the characters were interacting with the background to attack the enemy (kinda like in Power Stone), but when the game was released, they took it out. That was lame. I never saw that video myself, but if it was supposed to be like that, they should have kept it in. That would have made the game more fun. I'm a fan of the game, but yeah they shouldn't have done that.

Oh yeah, and Zelda: The Wind Walker. The game may have rocked the house, but Link's design killed it for me.

By who? Where can I find this list?

Man, a list of worst Playstation games...damn, that's gotta be quite a list.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Mania XIX. While X8 didn't do any favors, the "improvement" in XIX was overlooked by the nonexistence of a storymode, and no I'm not counting Revenge. If I wanted to beat up construction workers and mall security, I'd grab a 2 x4 and go out and haul ass.
