Identify this Anime Film

Recommended Posts

Anime isn't my thing, so I have no clue what this might be. I know the description is shotty, so any info you can provide would be fantastic. Thanks.

The first movie is from a while back and

I don't have many details so you probably won't be able to find it for me, but all I remember is that there was a train that would travel in space. I think it was an Anime film, but again the last time I saw it was when I was in Grade 5 (1986) so I can't remember much more than that.

If it didn't have huge mechs and/or homoerotic bishonen action, most anime fans here sure as hell wouldn't know

That's not true. I watch other Anime. I hate Bishonen bullshit anyways.

Btw, when did Heather Kozar become Miss 1990? She didn't come along until January 1998.

No really. She changes it like every 5 seconds. And it's equally disturbing every single time.

Were the characters cats? If so, it was probably 'Night on the Galactic Railroad' ...if not, I have no idea.

That's the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this thread.

Then again, it's the only anime I've ever seen.

It was a good movie.

The Scorpion story sucked though, but the part where all the lost souls are heading to heaven (like the girl and her brother who sank on the boat) was VERY freaky.

yeah, it's Galaxy Express 999. Didn't they show it on Sci-Fi channel a while ago? It was pretty good.

I wish Sci-Fi would show Anime on Saturdays again.

what was the one movie they showed where people in the town dissapeared, things were repeating themselves, and the town was on a turtle's back? Something about someone dreaming.
