Movies or TV Shows that made you cry

Recommended Posts

Where the Red Fern Grows was a secret government project to make massive numbers of children kill themselves. Come on, who DIDN'T feel like complete shit after reading that?

Saving Private Ryan is absolutely impossible for me to get through without crying because of how much it reminds me of my grandfather.

Rudy goes without saying.

I'd have to say that any film or show with a real swelling, triumphant moment will make me tear up more than a sad one of some kind. Hell, that hard-fucking-core captain dude in The Matrix Revolutions had me a little misty because he was just so fucking cool, what with the constant yelling and shit. I just wanted to stand up and yell "FUCK YEAH!"

What was the original ending of Quantaum Leap? To be honest, I thought they did good.

One ending that will forever make me both sad and angry was Farscape's "finale". For all those who don't know, Scifi canceled the show and then tried to pass the season finale as the series finale. A great show marked by a sad end. oh well.

I remember watching that, and I thought it was funny as hell. I've never seen any station do something that ballsy. I mean, it's one thing to cancel a show. It's another thing to cancel it and have it end of a cliff hanger that says "To be continued.", and then replace it with Scare Tactics and Tremors: The series (Is Tremors even on anymore?) I never watched the show, but understood that it had a following akin to Star Trek. And it was tupid how the ended it. Sorry if this seems jumbled, but I'm at work.

Fortunately, Sci-Fi is going to give us a Farscape miniseries sometime in the relative future, so maybe they can undo some of the fucking damage.

It won't make up for "Tremors: The Series", but it's a goodwill gesture.

Speaking of sci-fi shows: the finale of Babylon 5. I didn't really cry, but I did get emotional, because the show is really THAT damn good, and it ended marvelously. For anyone who's a hardcore fan of the series, there is no better finale than seeing JMS literally turn out the lights.

I'm watching I Am Sam right now and It's honestly the saddest movie I've seen...

The scene where Pfiephers character tears down the paper crane wall and freaks out on Sam gets me every fucking time. Sean Penn's facials in that scene are fantastic.

On time when Steve asked Laura for a date and she turned him down and started crying, I ran out of the room and cried and my mom told me it was ok. I was like 3 or 4.

The series finale of Boy Meets World is kinda touching. The first time, the 2nd it isnt as much.
