Jack_Bauer 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2003 We're starting in South Korea this time. Last time they started somewhere like that as well didnt they ? THINK it was Kuala Lumpar though last time. Anyhoo, some guy is getting tortured. He says something and some guy runs to a room full of American officers it seems. They ask him 'When ?'. The Korean guy says 'Today'. I'm guessing the guy is talking about a bomb going off. Before anyone asks, I have heard NOTHING about this season. So we are now with David and Keith Palmer. Nicole gets brought into the conversation. I wonder if we'll see her. Sherry also gets brought in. Palmer then gets a phone call, and he is told that there is an emergency. OK, I'm definately guessing that it's a bomb right now. What the hell is this ?!?! OK, there is NO way that Kim has a kid. Some guy chases a little girl into her room ( this ISNT pedo style, it's his daughter ). Kim doesn't look as if she likes this guy whoever he is. Anyway the little kid runs away again and Kim stays in the room. I'm guessing that this is gonna become a little more important later. David Palmer ( who is president, I meant to say sooner ) says sorry to Keith and Keith is understanding. Well, that's different from the Keith that was in season one, that's for sure. More people say sorry and we leave there. Erm ... there was a POINT to that little bit ? SOMEONE OUT OF ROSANNE ! I cant remember her name though. Anyhow, Tony FINALLY got rid of that little shitty beard, and the Rosanne girl who is called Paula, is being rather irritating. Well, she is only doint it to be helpful, but it's irritating me. Mason ( i dont like this guy at all ) tells her that she's trying too hard. Well, I like him now. CLASSIC LINE ALERT - Mason : 'If I'm Still Here This Time Next Year, Shoot Me'. Then someone comes up to George Mason and says that a guy wants him to bring Jack Bauer in ( about time ). The woman then goes over to Tony and they talk about him being inactive. Anyway, we cut to Jack, who has a whole hobo look going on. Palmer goes into a rather cool underground base where he is met by Eric Rayburn. Eric informs the president that there is a terrorist threat and it is VERY serious. Basically there are LOADS of people waiting on him, and Mike ( hmm, good to see him back ) is on the way. Palmer is then told that there is a nuclear bomb under terrorist control. WHOA ! It's going to go off .... today. Well I kinda guessed that. Anyways, they go into a load of crap about people involved. They mention a group called 'Second Wave' who a man in photos that are provided works for. They say officially, the government doesnt back them, but unofficially ... Eric hands Palmer a file. Palmer looks at a file and wants the prime minister of a country. Back to the Kim thing, and we now have a MUM for the kid, and we then learn that Kim is a nanny. Interesting. The guy is called Gary. Interestingly, Gary is hugging his wife and grabbing her ass while looking at Kim. What the hell ?!?! This guy rocks ! The wife leaves and Gary says to Kim 'You've Got a Great Body, do you work out'. Man this guy wants her. Kim says 'I Swim a Lot' and Gary just nods. Back to Palmer, and he is on the phone to the prime minister. He asks about 'Second Wave'. The guy says obviously he's heard of them but doesn't condone their actions. Palmer then tells him that there are 'Second Wave' camps unimpeded in the country. Palmer then says this : 'If a bomb goes off, it will hurt us, but it will destroy you'. God damn ! Jack is watching Kim like a stalker. Is this guy nuts ? CTU call him and he says he doesnt work for them and hangs up again. DAMN YOU JACK ! He then goes to see Kim. She tells Jack that every time she sees him, it reminds her of mum. That's the jist of things as Megan ( the little girl ) calls Kim back into the house. Palmer wants a casulty assessment. Well, I'm guessing that this is going to be interesting. Eric talks about a reaction and Palmer says that just now he only wants to protect the people. A guy ( looks kinda asian ) is driving a CLASS-IE car. He then goes up to a woman. They kiss and some annoying bitch comes out and shouts at them. Damn whore. They are getting married today. Well there ya go. The guy is called Reza, and he takes the woman's dad's company car to pick someone up from the airport. The annoying woman is called Kate and the other woman is called Marie. Kate asks her dad why Reza is taking the company car. The dad asks Kate if she doesnt trust Reza, and he says that is it because he's middle eastern. This looks like it's gonna become important. Eric calls Mason at CTU and says that he needs Jack to be brought in. Mason seems to be weary about bringing Jack in. Tony has been leaving messages for Jack everywhere. It's not untill the president calls him that he answers. Palmer tells Jack that he needs his help. Back to Gary and Carla ( Gary's wife ). Kim walks over to Carla when she is wrapping a present. Kim asks Carla if she needs any help and Carla seems very snappy when she says no. Hmm. Carla then tells Kim to take Megan upstairs. Well, Paula has discovered that something major could be happening. Anyway, George Mason tells everyone that there is a nuclear device under terrorist control in LA. Over at the bunker that Palmer and co. are in, Palmer is told that there is a potential loss of life in the region of 2,000,000. We then go to a warehouse where it seems as if the bomb is being built. Someone says the bomb will be ready soon. We then go back to the CTU. Paula tells Tony that she doesnt think she can do this. Jack Bauer then makes his entrance. He meets Tony and they head to the conference room. Mason tells Jack that they arent close to getting a suspect and Jack storms out. Moany bastard. Jack phones Kim to tell her to leave town ( which she doesnt go for ) and then he goes to leave but he sees a woman and her kid, and seems to be having second thoughts. Mason isnt happy with Tony for Jack leaving. Mason is in total dickhead mode here. Jack enters the room and demands that Kim be taken out of town. He is informed of someone called Marshall Goran who could be vital to the case, and he wants him brought in. Back to the Reza, Marie, Kate scenario. Marie's ex is going to the wedding. Reza seems to be jealous. Kate then suggests that Marie is damaged goods. Kate > goddess. The phone rings and Kate answers and someone says that Reza's financial record is sound but he COULD be linked with terrorists. Hmm, I think I know where this is going now. Something happens with Eric and Palmer. Basically, there was a meeting planned by Eric regarding a response. Palmer takes exception to this. He tells Eric not to work against him. Mason says that Goran will be there soon. Goran gets there and explains that all he has to do is testify against a guy named Joseph Wald and he walks. Jack seems pissed off ... HE SHOT HIM ! OK, I didn't see that coming. Mason is fucking shocked and so am I. Anyway, Jack says that he's gonna need a hacksaw. Good god. Back to the wacky world of Kim. Gary gets home and we hear the door slamming. We then hear yelling and crashing. Megan says that she hates when this happens and Kim wonders what she means. Kim locks the door anyway and Gary comes up and wonders why the door is locked. Kim says that they are in the bathroom and then unlock the door. Gary says that Carla fell and tells Kim to go and help. He then makes Megan bounce her hed off of the side of the bed. Gary to Kim : I WILL hurt you !. Man, anyway he gets a call on his cellphone. We then fade out with Jack and his severe lack of a hobo beard. Overall, that was fun.

El Gigante 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 Great synoposis of the first episode. I would like to see more of these. I was a big fan of the hobo bad ass Jack Bauer look, but all in all I thought it was a good first episode that set up the season well.
