Yep. Any credibility you've ever thought you had? Officially gone. Dave doesn't WATCH TNA due to monetary constraints, so his opinions are considered worth toilet paper here, since we can, you know, VIEW what we're commenting on.

I saw the show, and outside of the 3 "x-division" matches, it was pretty bad.

Am I the only one who thinks vicvenomjr should be banned for flooding threads with stupid comments and basically flame-baiting people by saying O'Neill is smarter than anyone and knows 97% of the posters in this folder hate his guts?

Yes, yes you are Dallas Boy

I want everyone banned. Heh. It does seem...interesting, that someone, from the woodwork, would just appear and be on his side though. Seriously, someone should start checking ip's.

Look, I'll come out and say it. Wer'e not the same person. I'd think Id know if i was two people.

Saying that, I did plan to launch a gimmick to celebrate post 3000

Bah, I was only being half serious anyone. I couldn't give a shit if people have gimmick/troll/alternate accounts.

I understand that you live in Ireland. I also understand that you have financial trouble when it comes to obtaining NWA:TNA tapes. I think it's cool that you bother to follow the product despite these setbacks. The thing that bothers me is that you base your opinions off of other people's opinions.

For example, you have stated in the past that you read Dames along with all the other NWA:TNA columns (that I will leave unnamed because of where we're at). That doesn't mean that they are right though. So, if two out of three of them bash a show, that doesn't automatically mean the whole show was garbage, Raven was held down, & Jeff Jarrett buried the planet.

I'm just saying, if you went by what you saw as opposed to what you read, your opinion would be more valid. A lot more valid. You'd get several people off of your back as well. Hell, maybe you'd focus more on the positives instead of only noting the negatives.

Yeah, I know you don't have the availability, that's my point.

I mean, what can you compare the shows too anyway? What type of standard are you comparing NWA:TNA too? If the show is better than a bad WWE Raw, does that mean the show was mediocre? Does that mean that WWE is the bar to compare it too? Afterall, WWE is the only Global federation....

Are you going to compare it to Ring of Honor in terms of workrate? Because NWA isn't RoH.

How can you say what's good and what's bad when you're comparing it to all the positives from the entire business? Of course it will be bad. The bar is too fucking high.

That's why you have to watch it for yourself.

Match Point, Coffey.

Or, like me, when I didn't watch TNA from Week 5 through 26, I didn't say ANYTHING about the product (even though at some points it looked like shit on paper)

because I didn't watch it, even though I did read Dames' Diatribes on them.

Are you people serious?

I mean ban me, please. Do it, I dare ya. It would only made my life better as I would actually, you know, work at work.

Funny how I've made what 50 posts and made more of an impact than many of you have made in 1,000. I do it respectfully, provide different views and respond immediately to everything that is thrown my way. That's the point of any forum right. Or is it to make friends with some 50 year old 350 pounder living in his Nashville trailer who praises JJ or someone else who constantly watches his lucha tapes and acts like he knows what he is talking about?

Don't be intimidated because I back up what I say. Is it right? Who knows. But at least it's unique and brings some sort of interest to a forum where the same rasslers are praised and hated. Rinse, recycle, repeat.

-Making an impact on a message board? Get a life, it's a message board.

-You claim you're respectful and then go on to ridicule people who are 50, overweight, and living in a trailer in Nashville. Right there you are being disrespectful in 4 different ways.

I'd like to distance myself from him...please.

At least I'm upfront with people, and prepared to back down if I'm sounding like an idiot

eh, whatever.

All I can say is that I challenged people. If I was such an idiot or a troll or whatever else, then why was EVERY SINGLE post I wrote responded to.

Trolls are like bad car wrecks.

We don't want to be around them or see them, but something draws us in no matter what.

Doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out a good answer to that.

Am I the only person in these forums that.....likes Michael Shane? I ordered the show, and yes, it sucked. I didn't pay $10 to see: a 20 minute Jarrett promo, Bg James win another tag team title, Christopher Daniels and Aj Styles take the night off from competing, etc. Oh, and what they are doing with Hogan is gonna blow up in their face. Remember when Austin kept challenging Bret Hart for months and when the match finally happened the fans booed Hart because they had only heard Austin's side of the story?

Posted

Hogan > Jarrett. At the time, Austin's popularity was on the rise. Now, Jarrett's popularity is on the decline, and Hogan's is still on its steady decline (thus he still has some name value, but not much left).

And yes, you are the only one that likes Michael Shane. The only one we respect, at least.

Or just the only one with the balls to admiting you like him.

MS isn't THAT bad, but he's not someone I look foward to watching every week.

I liked Micheal Shane's matches in ROH, but so far in TNA, he has not been that great at all.

I like Shane, I think he's a good wrestler, but so far, he really hasn't been good in TNA.

My problem with Shane, at least in TNA, is simple. Lack of innovation. He wrestles the same match each week. While guys like Daniels, Sabin, Ki, Red when he wasn't hurt, and AJ find new ways to improve their matches each week, Shane seems to be stuck doing the same old thing each week. His moves are the same, his layout is the same, even his cheating is the same! It just looks like he isn't putting in the effort.

Am I alone in thinking Michael Shane sounds a LOT like Christian?
