Guest Anglesault Report post Posted December 1, 2003 Storyline of the Year: Lesnar/Angle/Big Show going into Vengeance The "Angle and Lesnar are gay lovers and Big Show is really fat" storyline? To be fair though- Big Show is really fat. That's why they made sure to focus on Angle and Lesnar's gay arc more than Big Show. The fans didn't need convincing that Show was fat, but they did need it to run with this bizarre Angle/Lesnar...thing.
Just call me Dan 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 I fail to see why Jericho is completely dominant on the Raw wrestling side whereas HBK got ONE vote. C'mon, he has had the most consistent string of good-great matches we've seen from people in a while (sans Benoit or Guerrero). Then you have his performance at Survivor Series. Jericho has been good, but better than HBK? I beg to differ. It seems as if most of you forgot he was even around except for WM19's Shawn Michaels vs. CHRIS JERICHO~! Jericho's matches have really gone downhill for me because I can't get over that pathetic crab he uses. it KILLS the match in my eyes. would you enjoy someone working the back all night and finishing things up with a botched vertical suplex? bob_barron 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 Jericho wrestles almost every week and works house shows. Shawn was also pretty inactive from RR to Judgement Day. (With just the WM match) Jericho also had the Highlight Reel segment which got him significant airtime while all HBK did was cut boring promos.
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 What good->great matches has Shawn had? He was amazing at Survivor Series and of course Wrestlemania- but after that the well is dry. Jericho had good stuff all year round. The guy got a good match out of Goldberg (something HBK did not do)
Just call me Dan 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 Yes, I'll agree on the entertainment value. I'd say Jericho is definitely the RAW MVP. but WRESTLER? I mean as far as the matches go (I can't count the week in and week out house shows I don't see), Michaels is just really on.
