Paycheck...

I've seen a lot of Posters for it lately and I just seen a Commercial, so I decided to check up on it. I watched the Trailer, and I think this movie is going to be pretty good.

Anybody heard about this ? Thoughts, opinions ?

It looks fairly interesting and could be a good movie.

Affleck can be good if he's given decent material. This looks like it could be another film on the short list of good Affleck performances.

Eh, it's Box Office Gross is going to be determined by how much Affleck backlash remains at this point. No matter how good the movie's reviews are, there are groups of people that will refuse to see the movie, just because they don't want to support a member of the Bennifer machine in any way. If the movie gets good reviews, and deserves to do good business, hopefully Affleck's presence won't take away from what the movie could have remained. It remains to be seen if the Affleck/J-Lo backlash has completely disappeared, or if it could become a factor again.

I'm late to the "Ben Affleck can eat a bag of dicks" band wagon, but I'm on it now. I think he's an awful actor and whether this film fails or succeeds will be on his shoulders. You can't fault the source material, director or surging again Uma Thurman. I also think the release date doesn't quite jive with this type of film. It probably would have done better released in February like Daredevil was.
