Guest Waldo Report post Posted December 1, 2003 I was just looking through some old posts out of boredom. I found a few odd recurring scenarios: 1. Someone would complain to Dames in a thread 2. Dames would politely reply and tell them he'd handle it 3. Banky starts a thread addressing the exact same problem (and poster) in a more "fuck you for asking" sort of way An example of #1 and #2 can be found here and an example of #3 can be found here This would explain why: A. Dames only posts once in a blue moon B. Banky was banned then immediately unbanned after Johnson and Eagan were gone C. Dames seems to support Banky no matter what he does D. Banky has no background I'm thinking Banky is his way of showing true feelings on certain subjects without being looked at as "The Administrator". Just thought I'd pass this along. Thoughts? When Banky got banned Dames issued the "zero-tolerence" rule, which basically caught Johnson and Eagan on technicalities and got them banned. Then like a day later the server goes down for an hour and Dames says "Banky saved the day - he's unbanned!." Not like he'd tell us WHY he'd be in contact with a banned poster in the first place, or why that was his first choice for tech support. Dames also said that he was the one that fucked up the server.
