Forgot about these guys

EZ Money aka Jason Jett - I loved watching this guy wrestle when he was in ECW and he has some very innovative offense. I know that he was in TNA before briefly but why wasn't he asked back?

Backseat Boyz - Acid and Kashmere. Same with these guys, I also remember them in TNA before. I always hear rave reviews of their tag team work in ROH.

The backseats would be an awesome addition to any company let alone TNA. But I honestly think most of the teams in TNA would have a hard time keeping up with them.

You could've just hit "reply" instead of "new topic."

EZ - His TNA matches weren't that good, really. His one singles match (I forget against who, but it was an X-Division jobber) was just the same old EZ spots, and his only tag match (w/ Siaki vs. Divine Storm) was pretty good. If TNA were to ever bring him back, I'd say put him in a tag team with somebody they either have no ideas on how to use as a singles competitor, or tell him to work how he did in WCW (his best work, IMO).

Backseatz - AWESOME tag team. Tons of charisma, excellent masters of their gimmick, and solid in-ring competitors. Acid carries the team, and will be a break-away star one day, but Kashmere is very good as well. If they were to be brought in on a consistent basis, they'd show up too many teams in TNA, and thus would probably be buried or fired due to being, you know...GREAT.

What in the world was the reason for the Briscoe Boys being in ONE freaking match in TNA? (not counting xplosion) The fought Devine Storme the week after JJ-Truth 1 and never came back. I think they, along with the Backseats, and DS if Storm comes back from Japan, would really liven up the tag division

Briscoes- they were both in high school still during TNA's earlier days, and Wednesday's a school night. Would you REALLY want to fly/drive from Delaware to Nashville on a school night?

Backseats- if you saw their one TNA match, compared to guys like AMW and even the Hotshots, they were fucking tiny. That might have been a turnoff to TNA...also, Acid and Kashmere don't exactly have the best locker room rep, so maybe they pissed some people off there. I think Jingus was hanging around TNA during their shot, you could ask him.

Edit: Divine Storm likely aren't ever coming back as a team, even though QS is coming back from Japan in March. Chris Divine has sequestered himself in Puerto Rico- rumor I've heard is he didn't take his breakup with Trinity all that well.

Quiet Storm is great though, so so underrated, he's a really solid all-around wrestler who gets stereotyped as a spot monkey because he was trained by Whipwreck. He can do any style well though.

Oh. I didn't know the Briscoes were still in school. makes sense though. What kind of rep do the BSB have?

Acid, as much as I love watching him wrestle, is a giant egomaniac (think the HHH of CZW), and Kashmere has quit CZW twice now under mysterious circumstances...this is just a guess, but probably because of booking disagreements.

Wow, i didn't know that either. Hopefully I'll get to meet them 1/10. Whatever happened to Ace Steel? I think he may be back because of the Punk impending Heel turn, but he kinda just dropped off teh radar.

I've met the guys numerous times and they seemed as down to earth as anyone you'll meet. I've also talked to the booker of PCW, and he said he never had a problem booking them (despite the fact they are above the company's level in every way). There's always posts all over message boards talking about what nice guys the BSB are after people meet them at shows. Ask Gabe and he'll tell you he's never had a problem with them in ROH. The CZW thing from Redefined was Bob Magee getting worked, and blowing things out of proportion on his site. Hence the fact that Acid now carries a "The Game" sign out with him, and it's become his gimmick. So where is this "rep" you're tlaking about actually coming from?

You make it sound like a bad thing. Colt is so talented.

Devin, I've got some less-than-great stories about Acid from the IWS crew when they were working with CZW last year. And Thomas Green (Phoenix Fury Legdrop) has a lot of contacts within indy wrestling and has relayed some similar stories to me. So that's what I'm basing that stuff on.

If you want, I saved some of those convos, I can send them to you, fun CZW gossip stuff.

Haha, sure. Not that I don't believe you, just that I'm sure they're an interesting read.

Hold up....they are in my little hellhole of a state?

Are these the two guys from Laurel, DE that wrestled as part of one of the WWF developmental territories with Kevin Kelly?

ETA: Also, Delaware doesn't have a major airport so they'd have to drive in from Baltimore or take the Amtrak. I don't think they could afford a private plane, which is all the airports around here seem to allow. Yes, welcome to Delaware indeed.

Mike Barton.

I'm deadly serious. Saturn - Barton is one of the few TNA matches I've seen, and it impressed the hell out of me

I actually liked Barton and Saturn too. Too bad the idiotic crowd couldn't get into the match. But what can we expect our of some Nashville hillbillies?

The same we'd get if Danielsen showed up. The hicks just arent prepared for a puro- style match, which is what Barton - Saturn was.

I am the biggest Barton mark in the world, i like his NJ work alot and think he could get over in the states, He hasnt been booked since the tag G1 so pick him up while hes around

dont pick up Saturn, in his match with Kenzo he looked like he was stoned out of his mind on Somas or somthin

Both Acid and Kashmere are fantastic guys and neither are egomaniacs. The whole ego thing is part of their gimmick. Acid especially is one of the most genuinely nicest guys on the entire indy circuit.

Probably because Kenzo fucking sucks the dead donkey wang.

I'd like to see "MoFo" Steve Bradley brought in. He's a pretty good worker, has some natural heel charisma, and he's a pretty big guy (looks like a cartoonish body builder, similar to X's overall figure, but with braids). If only for a match or two, anyways.

Yeah, Jay and Mark Briscoe (real last name is Pugh, I believe) are from Laurel, Delaware

Bradley had some stupendous matches with Chris Daniels a few years back. I'd like to see them go at it one more time.

I say they bring back EZ, Backseat boys, and Chris Hamrick

Hamrick wrestled like 2 matches in TNA, under the name of Crimson dragon, and both matches were really good.

First off this is my last post because I can't deal with a message board where the mod can insult the intelligence of people but then when called on the carpet for his idiocies he threatens to ban people.

Anyway just met the Backseat Boys at a bar on Lancaster Avenue in Berwyn, Pa. Super, super laid back and cool guys. Really down to earth. Trent spoke more and told me Sat. night's show will be awesome for CZW. I asked about TNA and he said TNA has rediculous amounts of money but when he was there it seemed liked it was run by a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. Said the booking doesn't make any sense and specifically doesn't understand Shark Boy's push. I asked about Russo and Trent said that he seemed a little dishelved when he met him and he doesn't think that he has had it since he left the WWF. Trent put ROH super over and said he'll continue to do that for a while. I also called him "The New Game" a moniker Bob Magee gave him and he didn't respond in favor.

Funny about rassling, for a biz so bashed by so many the guys who I've met in the past few years (Raven, RVD, New Jack, Sandman, Lawler) were all super over the top nice. Just way over the top respectful. It's a good trait to see in such a dirty biz.

Let me leave you with one last prediction, Teddy Hart will be the biggest star in the biz in five years. He's working you people.

And to the mod you are an acehole and an unintelligent one at that.
