Guest Bottled Black Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 OK guys need some help here. Brief recap of my season. Start out 3-0-1 now stand at 5-7-1. This is the last week of the regular season, if I win I'm in If I lose I'm out of the playoffs. Do I start Brad Johnson (who hasn't done anything for me the last few weeks) against The Saints, or do I start Anthony Wright (who has been lighting up the scoreboard the last few weeks) against the Bangles?
the pinjockey Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 I would go with Johnson. Wright only had the one really good game, then a solid one. At his very worst Johnson is still going to put up 175 and a TD. Don't buy into Wright yet.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 Wrights had 1 awesome game and a decent Trent Dilferesque game. He's good for 175 yards and 2 TDs, maybe an INT/Fumble.
starvenger Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 I'd go with Johnson. Fusgesicles/Nevermores is a pivotal game, but Wright is too much of an unknown to know how he'll play. So even though Johnson and Jurevicius are out of the year, Johnson is a safer bet.
Guest Bottled Black Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 Thanks for the advice, Thats what I figured, go with the known quantity, but it was tempting.
razazteca Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 Ravens put up more points, take a risk and go with Anthony Wright. The Ravens vs Bengals game is a very important game, it is not only for bragging rights but it is for a playoff spot and lead in the division. So you can expect that Wright will preform to his fullest abilities.
