I need to know the procedure for formatting a friend's computer. He's running XP pro. Thanks-Jim

If you are putting XP Pro back on and you have the XP Pro CD then you need to make sure the BIOS is set to boot from CD and then boot the XP Pro CD in and reboot.

 

Follow the prompts.

 

Same for a restore CD.
