Guest TheArchiteck Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 Thats too bad, I didn't like her much until her show came on. After that, I found her pretty funny.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 I never seen the show, but from the commercials, she has an annoying voice and the show looks very one dimmensional. At least I still got the Simpsons on FOX. When they are done, FOX will fall behind ESPN2 as my most watched networks.
Corey_Lazarus Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 That's how you know the network wants to cancel your show, but can't legally because the ratings are decent: YOU GET THE FRIDAY LINEUP.
Guest Frank_Nabbit Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 X Files rose to prominence in the Friday Slot The Good ole days: Mon: Northern Exposure Wed: Quantum Leap/ Unsolved Mysteries Friday: TGIF/X Files/Sighting/Skinamax Saturday: Superstars of Wrestling/Wrestling Challenge Weeknights at 10:30 Night Court/Cheers *Sigh*
EdwardKnoxII Posted December 9, 2003 Author Report Posted December 9, 2003 That's how you know the network wants to cancel your show, but can't legally because the ratings are decent: YOU GET THE FRIDAY LINEUP. Yeah no kidding I was pissed when they moved Dark Angel and Fastlane on Friday Nights. Cause outside of the X-Files I can't think of any Fox that has done well on Friday Nights. And with that hopefully Boston Public will be gone next season.
NoCalMike Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 Wanda Sykes entertains me. I thought she was hilarious doing the Andy Rooney satire on Inside the NFL earlier this season, and also enjoy her work on Curb Your Enthusiasm.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 We're racist if we don't find her funny? Wow. Personally I never figured out why I was supposed to like her. Wow she acts like a total bitch, I should laugh!!! Look who made the post. He/She/It is probably new. Stop by the CE folder and you'll understand better -- that comment was made in jest. And while we're on this subject, I did get annoyed when Margaret Cho whined about how her show got canned because she wasn't the "typical Asian girl" or however she worded it. No. Your show got canned because you aren't funny...
Gert T Posted December 10, 2003 Report Posted December 10, 2003 How many shows of Luis aired before it was cancelled? It definetely looked like after that first episode its magic number was 13. And Boston Public will still be around because Fox will keep throwing "controversial topics" in episodes to try to garner more viewers.
