Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted December 8, 2003 This may be old news, but I haven't seen a thread for it yet. IGN has posted a preview of Gran Turismo 4 Prologue, which is a demo version that was only released in Japan. The final version of GT4 is expected to have 500 cars and 50 courses. Screenshots of the game can be found here. This particular screenshot is awe-inspiring.

Guest Kamui Report post Posted December 9, 2003 Gran Turismo has long been the only "realistic" (i.e. actual cars, sim-style) racing series I truely love, and GT4 looks to be the best one yet. I can't wait to see more.
fazzle 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2003 This particular screenshot is awe-inspiring. ...so long as you don't look at the crowd. Yikes. So much detail in the backgrounds and the cards, but yet the allow the crowd to look like that.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2003 (faints) (faints again) (DIES) Okay, that last shot is from Sega GT 2002, but I couldn't find any Mustang shots on the Gran Turismo sites.
Insane Bump Machine 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2003 (edited) Let's hope the CPU enemies have an actual AI this time. That's the only gripe I have with GT3, those damn opponents all driving the exact same way. @Kotz: Edited December 9, 2003 by Insane Bump Machine

According to my Game Informer (what a crappy magazine....anyway) you're in luck, because the AI is MUCH improved.

Guest JacK Report post Posted December 14, 2003 I'm hoping that they'll put in a Holden . . . though I doubt they will. But they put in a gay Ford AU V8 Supercar I think it was; Seton's if I recall; right when his team started to drop. Oh well, I'll be happy if they find some way to get Ferrari in, like the RUF thing they used to get Porsche's in. Maybe some Lambo's, a Diablo or two would rule all kinds of ass. . . maybe the Bathurst 24 Hour winning Monaro? Or maybe the American thing it beat, the 'Whatsitsname'
