Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted December 10, 2003 I put a lot of the blame on Kurt Angle for the reason this feud lacked something. His multi-injuries and his most boring and bland baby face character in the world. At least they got smart and made Brock heel again. I'm not sure what you meant by that. First you said you hated Angle being a face in the feud (even though he was a heel from December-March) then you say your glad Brock turned heel...which makes Angle the face and you hate face Angle. Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2003 I loved the Angle / Lesnar feud. Not only did they put on good matches (okay, except for the Iron Man match), but it had a great story of Brock earning his way to get back on top. And why all the hate for their friendship? I thought it was great they played off of it because of the WM XIX finale.

The story was "Angle is a sucky, worthless champion who can't do anything right. Watch Brock prove this" You were so far off the mark it's not funny.

Austin3164life 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2003 The feuds this year have really sucked. The only one I can think of that had (or still has) some promise was the Cena/Benoit feud. I remember that one Smackdown where there was the buildup to the #1 Contender's main event to see who goes to face Brock at Backlash. Cena and Benoit were involved in two or three skits (with Brock as well) where they both gave importance to the World Title and they both gave legitimate reasons on why they didn't like each other and wanted to win. You essentially saw both of their true characters and it seemed special. I think a Cena/Benoit feud would be a great, great thing to watch. Angle/Brock had potential, but they overproduced it. Austin/Rock III was decent, but there were too many goofy segments to desperately try to have people boo The Rock. Once it got down to The Rock wanting to prove that he is the greatest that Raw has ever seen, and not Austin, then it was good. The match was good, and the ending was very good (Rock winning clean, not attacking Austin after the match in a chicken-like way, both men had their salutes). But, yeah, this year has REALLY sucked, booking wise.
