Gert T Posted January 3, 2004 Report Posted January 3, 2004 I'm not sure how bad they blew the clock the first time anyway. The clock doesn't re-start when the ball is snapped...it restarts when the chains are moved. now...I wasn't watching to see if the chains were in place...but the clock certainly stopped long enough for two one legged blind men to put them in place... Exactly, the chains were down after the second completion and at the most K-State lost 1 second on that one.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 3, 2004 Report Posted January 3, 2004 Because I'm bored, major conference bowl records thus far: ACC: 4-1 (pending Humanitarian Bowl) SEC: 4-2 (pending Sugar Bowl) Pac-10: 4-2 Big East: 3-2 Big Ten: 3-5 Big XII: 2-4 (pending Sugar Bowl) And, if Tulsa manages to knock off Georgia Tech, the WAC will finish 4-0 with two wins over BCS teams. Not bad, mid-majors.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted January 3, 2004 Report Posted January 3, 2004 The MAC went 2-0 Further proof that Northern Illinois could have used that bowl bid.
Vern Gagne Posted January 3, 2004 Report Posted January 3, 2004 And, if Tulsa manages to knock off Georgia Tech, the WAC will finish 4-0 with two wins over BCS teams. Not bad, mid-majors. Two BCS conference teams. Georgia Tech and UCLA shouldn't even be bowl games to begin with.
Damaramu Posted January 3, 2004 Report Posted January 3, 2004 I'm going to go ahead and cover my bases and declare that LSU will beat OU. Why? Because I'm a curse and every team I root for loses. All of my OU blowing over the past month is going to lead to a huge loss. Wish I could change my pick to LSU though.....
Damaramu Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 35 minutes. I've already got butterflies.
CanadianChris Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 I wonder what else is on TV tonight.
HarleyQuinn Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 I'm psyched for this game as well, should be a good one with a very potent Oklahoma offense going up against a stud defense in LSU.
Damaramu Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 I'm psyched for this game as well, should be a good one with a very potent Oklahoma offense going up against a stud defense in LSU. It's basically the same team against one another which makes it even crazier.
Art Sandusky Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 I'm certainly amped, and Lee Corso wearing the Tiger head in the middle of the OU section of the Superdome took balls. Either that or they had a big net up in front of the Gameday set. Go LSU, show 'em what the SEC is made of.
Art Sandusky Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 I like the Super Bowl-esque introductions. Makes the game feel even bigger. (tries to invent a way to play football with three teams so USC could have made this game even more awesome)
CanadianChris Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Any final predictions? Prediction? Pain.
Art Sandusky Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Oh shit, that's pretty funny about the OU National Championship merchandise already being on their site. Nah, that can't possibly motivate LSU even more...
HarleyQuinn Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 LSU down to the 3, possibly down to the 1 with the penalty
CanadianChris Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Their centre needs to work on snapping, but quick.
Damaramu Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Oh my god! He's an All American Center to! Well we stopped that score.
ANKLELOCK Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 The center just GAVE away a sure TD. Wow.
The Robfather Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Well, a turnover a piece. This is getting interesting.
