MrRant Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 Half watching the Oregon/Minnesota game and playing NCAA Football 04(Just led Kansas State to a 15-0 National Championship season *simmed games* in my inaugural coaching season) So.... you did nothing and are taking credit for a National Championship?
Vern Gagne Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 He might of done the recruiting, and put the playbook together.
Vern Gagne Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 10-3 for Minnesota. First time in school history. The Gophers maybe the best OL pound for pound in the country. They may also have the best stable of RB's in the country. It gets better with 3 more blue chippers joining the team next year.
Vern Gagne Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 Utah's really gone under the radar screen this season. It wouldn't suprise me if Urban Meyer leaves for a major conference school in the next few seasons.
HarleyQuinn Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 Southern Miss is driving...here's hoping they put something on the board
Bored Posted January 1, 2004 Author Report Posted January 1, 2004 Iowa is up 20-7 on Florida late in the half. Only three people picked Iowa to win. Gator Bowl is just about to start; Capital One Bowl starts in a half-hour.
Damaramu Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 Hmm.........Rose Bowl isn't until 3:30 here. I get off work at 6:00. So I guess I'll be coming in around the end of the 3rd quarter. If it's a shootout that'll be the best time. But if it's a slaughter one way or another........*sigh*
Damaramu Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 I'm still hearing all this stuff that the crowd at the Sugar Bowl will be 80/20 LSU. And that OU's going to get booed out of the stadium when they take the field. This is kind of cool.......OU's the heels.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 Block punt ---> touchdown = Iowa up, 27-7. If they can keep rattling Chris Leak, Iowa's going to coast to a surprisingly easy win. I'm surprised at how sloppy UF's been today.

Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 And now Capital One has started with a big sack on David Green, and I'm up to the pain of switching between three games. Damn yous, scheduling!
Guest Flyboy Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 Can someone show me where Baker did pass interference on the defensive player on that "touchdown"?
Damaramu Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 Can someone show me where Baker did pass interference on the defensive player on that "touchdown"? That's a good question. I did not see the infraction in question...but it helps me in the contest.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 Unfortunate. All the games are blowouts so far, and not really fun to watch. Time to switch to movies till the Rose Bowl is on. Doesn't help that all my picks are the ones getting blown out, too.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 The Terps defense is solid and WV just stinks.
2GOLD Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 Purdue is getting rolled on and West Va players are snapping
Bored Posted January 1, 2004 Author Report Posted January 1, 2004 Purdue did get 10 quick points near the end of the half to at least give themselves a shot in the 2nd half. I think people didn't know that Maryland beat West Virginia 34-7 earlier this year as this should come as no surprise that Maryland is dominating them again.
HarleyQuinn Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 60 yard pass! Purdue making a strive to comeback
2GOLD Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 Never seen a team fall apart so quickly as the Bulldogs. I had a feeling Purdue could pull this out, they are good at making ESPN Classics.
Bored Posted January 1, 2004 Author Report Posted January 1, 2004 You know right before that play I thought to myself that Georgia should just kneel down. Even though they couldn't run out the clock they would have been able to pin Purdue deep with like 20 seconds left on the punt. Here comes the field goal attempt for overtime. Overtime although Georgia has time. Fuck I hope this game doesn't cut into the start of the Rose Bowl.
HarleyQuinn Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 FG is....GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!! TIED GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ANKLELOCK Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 .......................................
HarleyQuinn Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 I think it's being delayed until this game's done(delayed meaning kickoff time will wait)
Bored Posted January 1, 2004 Author Report Posted January 1, 2004 The broadcast start time was 4:30 EST/1:30 PST but the actual kick off doesn't come until some time after 5:00 EST/2:00 PST. The first 30-45 minutes would have been pregame stuff. Just hope this don't go five or six "overtimes".
