Ced 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2003 I'm one to constantly clean out my temporary net files and clean up my hard drive, but I've been noticing that when I begin typing up URLs in my IE address bar, sites I haven't been to in ages appear. I've cleaned out my history and favorites folder and they're still there. Somebody got a method for outting these damned spots?

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2003 That's odd that you cleaned out your history and they are still hanging around. Most of the time when I clear my history and temp, they are gone. And did you empty your Temp internet files? Cause your favorite folder has nothing to do with those URLs in the taskbar.

You're talking about the auto-complete feature, not the drop down list of recent URLs? (You start typing www.thesmartmarks.com and by the time you've type www.the it tries to fill in to www.thepornsiteyournotsupposedtolookat.com ? Go to the internet properties, then select the CONTENT Tab, then select autocomplete. You Will get the auto complete options, you can clear the history, and uncheck the tab for "Use auto complete for Web addresses" and that will never happen again. Downhome 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2003 Get Opera The answer to your question it is not, but it'll help you out in the long run. Everyone should use that. My IE fucked up the other day, and I had to find a way to download another browser really quick and I found Opera. I'll never use IE again unless I am forced to. Downhome 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2003 One day porn will be something that people openly talk about are not ashamed of. I have a dream. One day all porn look-er-at-ers will hold hands with the anti-porn people and we'll all live together in harmony. Oh yes, I have a deam. One day I'll be able to stand you dirty perverts of the DEVIL, one day we'll see eye to eye.

Yeah, I just started using Opera today because my IE decided to start crashing the night before last just about every ten minutes, and oddly enough every time I came to TSM. And then yesterday I couldn't even open it, I just automatically got a "this program needs to be shut down" message box. So far, I am really liking Opera, though.
