Tommorrow's Game Continental Tire Bowl: Pittsburgh vs. Virginia, worth 12 points Pick Breakdown Pittsburgh (18) - Bored, Kotzenjunge, bps "The The Truth" 21, Lando Griffin, 2GOLD, JHawk, Rob E Dangerously, teke184, the pinjockey, MarvinisaLunatic, Vern Gagne, Choken One, Cuban Linx, CanadianChris, The Might Damaramu, Agent Bond34, Gatornibs, HarleyQuinn Virginia (5) - phoenixrising, bravesfan, Edwin MacPhitso, razateca, cartman Posting this now since the game has an early start. This game I think was a lot tougher to pick than the breakdown indicates and I came pretty close to going with Virginia. Decent number of points but there won't be a huge impact in the standings at the moment. Only thing of note is the logjam in 7th place right now will be split in half and if Virginia wins phoenix, bravesfan, and Edwin will all jump to 2nd place. Anyways picking Cal wasn't that hard because Virginia Tech played like complete shit down the stretch. Under Jeff Tedford they also play better when they play better teams, just ask USC. Cal also played a much tougher schedule than Va Tech and I knew the game would be bigger to them since they haven't been to a bowl game in seven years. The hardest part about picking them was that I hate them so much. Trust me I was really confident with all my picks to this point but it's going to change starting tommorrow as I won't be shocked at all if Virginia wins as I had to practically flip a coin on that game. I said "Not in those hats your not." I was just joking. The dad had a good laugh and said "It'll be a great game. I can't wait." the mom proceeded to go into a 20 minute lecture about how LSU is going to whip OU's ass. Not ever once offering up anything about the game besides "LSU rocks! Just you wait! You're in denial! They rock! They're going to destroy OU!" I just stared at her the whole time while the husband rolled his eyes.
