EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2003 Da Man not the man in Hollywood... Triple H continues to get praised for his work in Blade 3. Everyone in Hollywood has been impressed with how hard Triple H has worked on his role, as well as how quickly he has been learning. Despite Hollywood being against anything from WWE (since most non-wrestling things from WWE fail), Triple H's name is growing. Hollywood is also high right now on Mick Foley and feel that his upcoming TV show could be a hit. Again though, some are holding reservations about the series because it is a non-wrestling WWE project. There is no buzz in Hollywood at all about Goldberg following his role in Looney Tunes: Back In Action. Credit: Wrestling Observer Newsletter
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2003 His role in Back in Action???? He was a stand in basically God, Hollywood should be burned to the ground for even MAKING back in action.

haVoc 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2003 I read and watch alot of tabloit crap and I've never heard anything mentioned about wrestlers besides the Rock. Dave knows and has inside friends in Hollywood now, huh?

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2003 Isn't Goldberg doing that Santa movie? Santa with Muscles 2? Only thing the IMDB has him listed for is "DragonBall Z" but the IMDB is like reading news from a message board run by 12 year old boys who don't watch wrestling. Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted December 18, 2003 I'm thinking Triple H and the McMahons have just been going around the locker room saying those things and a few of the wrestlers told Meltz. I don't see how he would find out otherwise.
buffybeast 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2003 Just because HHH works hard and learns quickly doesn't mean he is a box office draw. I heard that some in Hollywood weren't too pleased with the Rundown's opening weekend numbers. The Rock is more widely recognized in the main stream than HHH. Guest PowerPB13 Report post Posted December 19, 2003 Aw, come on...I think we can all agree that we should encourage Triple H to work hard and become the best actor he can possibly be! After all, if he does, maybe he won't come back to wrestling. Or if nothing else, he'll insist on doing his own stunts and tear his quad again. -Patrick

Yeah but, knowing our luck during interviews HHH will always be throwing out shoot comments to Rock about how he's a better actor then Rock.
Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted December 19, 2003 Plus we'll be getting weekly "behind the scene clips" of HHH at every show.

NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2003 Well chances are HHH's role in Blade 3 was to play some roided up baddy, the ends up getting his ass kicked by the hero......WOW WHAT A STRETCH IN CHARACTER.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2003 HHH should use his Blade 3 gimmick for wrestling.

Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted December 20, 2003 It amazes me that everyone looks past how hard of a worker he is, everyone jumps to "Boo, he holds people down!". While I agree, he's a shithead for that, I'm not ignoring how dedicated he is/was, before or after his first big break in wrestling. And his character dies in the movie to all the haters, so go cheer happily.

Roided up baddy, not a stretch...ass kicked by the hero, a stretch. If the villian is on the verge of defeat only to pull a sledgehammer out from under an abandoned car, I sense a movie theater riot. And his character dies in the movie to all the haters, so go cheer happily. Now if Triple H dying isn't a selling point for that movie, I don't know what is. Except that, given HHH's tendencies, he'll show up without a scratch in Blade 4. -Patrick
