I know you are all (ok most of you) are fresh out of high school or still in high school, but do anyone give to charity monthly or sponsor a child despite not making much money? Only reason I ask is I started doing it a month ago (part of this whole, make myself a better person thing I have going) and for 30 bucks a month, its quite rewarding. And I dont make jack shit at where I work, I have bills up the yahoo, and Im only 18. Anyway, anyone else do somethin like this?

I signed up at my place of work to donate $5 a week to some charity, I think the same that MrRant said (United Way)

And I'm a senior in H.S. if it matters, plus I'm always strapped for cash.

I give to the United Way a monthly amount deducted from my paycheck. I figure that their could be a day when I need them as well.

Fuck the United Way -- I can PM the details if you want.

If I ever make enough money where I can give some away it will to help homeless pets.

Humans can kiss my ass...

Well then you're not a total loss.

I don't care what you do -- you're not flushing my money down the toilet by giving to that evil organization (Well, by working for Comcast you are in a way, but at least you are working for it)...
