Something I just remembered about Judgment Day and

I noticed KOTR and SummerSlam were released on VHS / DVD to the stores as usual, but I had to order JD and Vengeance from Shopzone because they weren't released to the stores.

 

Anybody know the reason for this? I thought it was really weird.

Yea- Judgement Day and Vengeance were Shopzone Exclusive.

 

The DVDs were readily available in Canada though so your best bet ist to get it off ebay

Judgment Day probably to avoid the embarassment that the card was.

 

-Rikishi and Rico win the tag titles.

-HHH and Y2J in a SLOWWWWW, boring, lack-of-bumps Hell in a Cell Match. Y2J jobs.

-Wasn't there a Trish Vs. Stacy match.

-Undertaker Vs. Hogan

 

etc...

 

I never saw Vengeance, but I hear the main event was pretty good, if not silly, to give The Rock a world title reign like 2 weeks after he returned from an absence.

 

I'm sure the other title matches were decent, but forgettable. RVD/Brock, UnAmericans/Hogan+Edge, whoever else fought. Didnt Benoit and Eddy job to the Dudleys?

I like Judgment Day. Eddie vs. RVD and Edge vs. Angle are good enough. And yes, I'm aware that their Backlash was better. HIAC was decent. Not every one needs a big bump. And I enjoyed Austin vs. Flair & Big Show. I love the chops they exchange in the match. (Whoo! What? Whoo! What?)

I ordered Vengeance a few weeks ago from WWE.com because they had them at 9.98. when watching the three-way main, it was even better than I remembered. The false finishes were incredible and Angle was booked REALLY strong.

That was easily the best Triple Threat match I've seen in WWE/F.

 

(that includes Benoit/Jericho/Angle from Wrestlemania XVI, I couldn't get into that for some reason thanks to the retarded "European Title goes second" stipulation)
