ANKLELOCK 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2003 Im not making any predictions, im just stating how significant this matchup is with Jamal going up against the #1 rush defense.
Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2003 Ad of the day on KC radio was for the charity that donates money when the Chiefs D sacks the QB. The final line "Watch out Quarterbacks, the Chiefs defense is coming for you" somehow, I don't think that's the most intimidating threat. At least they don't have a charity for 'stopping the running back for negative yardage'. As for the playoffs.. preferably the following happens Colts win Ravens win Ravens beat Patriots Chiefs beat the Colts and the rest should be obvious (I prefer the KC/St. Louis matchup)
Guest Choken One Report post Posted December 29, 2003 God I Do *NOT* want to See Corey Fucking Dillon's Ass again. Classless motherfucker. First he walks RIGHT BY his coach after the game flashes a PEACE sign to the camera and strips off his uniform and throws his pads, Helmet, Cleats to the crowd with a digusted look on his face. Did the locker room speech "It's a Business Decision...I didn't gripe, I'm still not griping...It's just what transpired" and on Channel Five he did an intereview on the field and said "I'm Done. I've played my last game at Paul Brown Stadium. I need to move on and it's all business". CLASS LESS MOTHER FUCKER. Have fun as a Backup in Minnesota or Dallas because You are PAST your prime Dillon, You are NOT worth the Preist Holmes cash that you think you are. There's one thing to ask to leave but it's another to flat out strip yourself from the team not but 25 seconds after a disapointing loss finishing just short of the playoffs and not even showing ANY signs of remorse that you lost and flat out saying you will not be coming back in the most vocal way possible... He's a smart guy too...He's still under contract...but he made it that he is now so hated in Cincinnati, Marvin lewis and Mike Brown are FORCED to make a deal to get rid of this cancer. Good fucking Bye Corey. You WON'T be Missed.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2003 Where's the national media to criticize Marvin Lewis when the Bengals lose at home to the Browns. There certainly quick to give him all the credit when they win. It should be a two way street. Because he is still the coach of the damn Bengals and winning eight games alone is a helluva lot more than anyone thought they would win. You can't down a coach for losing a game in a situation his team wasn't supposed to be in. Lewis did an amazing job, he proved himself to be an excellent head coach and they will take that division next season more than likely since Boeller will be back in for the Ravens just plain handcuffing the little offense they have. Now if this was year three Bengals, then yes you can get on him. But to say a first year coach should have done this and this and this when he's still trying to make players understand his gameplan is absurd. Plus again, it's the Bengals...don't go expecting miracles.
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2003 The Chargers need to draft Eli Manning and scrap the Drew Brees project. If Fitzgerald is eligible, the Raiders need to draft him. The Cardinals will probably draft a defensive player..who knows.. 7-0 Ravens at the half. Boring game overall. Jamal has 11 carries for 77 yards. He might be able to pass Barry Sanders, but Im thinking unless Billick is stupid and plays Jamal the whole 2nd half he wont get the record.. Eli Manning? Boo....I like Doug Flutie. Such a waste of talent.......*shakes head* Flutie?! And forego Manning? Flutie is what, 40+ years old? Chargers aren't going anywhere with Flutie even if Flutie was in his prime. the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2003 If I were the Chargers I would trade down with Rivers, Roethlisberger, and Manning available. They are probably going to be gunshy to do that, after passing on Vick. Of course I also thought the Eagles should have taken the Saints- Ricky Williams offer and draft Cade McNown. So take my opinion for what it's worth.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2003 Didn't feel like creating a new thread...ESPN.com is reporting that Dick Jauron was fired this morning as coach of the Bears. Well, he was only on life support as coach for so long. If his teams played the first half of the season like they played the second, he would be in the playoffs. Oh well, another open door for someone.

ANKLELOCK 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2003 ^ Thats HI-larious, Dama. Flutie is 40 years old. Manning is the best QB in college football. Of course they need Manning.
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2003 I don't know Choken...the guy's been pretty good. At least 1129 yards in his 7 year career(except 2003 where he rushed for 491 yards in 12 games). Pretty solid yards per carry(hovering around 4.3 in his career) and has had 2 years of 10 TD's behind the Bengals O-Line, not exactly the league's best. In in terms of the Top 10 in yards, he was 9th in 97, 10th in 99, 5th in 2000, 7th in 01 and 10th in 02.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2003 ^ Thats HI-larious, Dama. Flutie is 40 years old. Manning is the best QB in college football. Of course they need Manning. Flutie's a good QB. I'm just mad that he was such a waste of talent. In his day he was better than Manning. But they had to piss him away on the bench. And I don't think Manning is the best QB in College Football. Jason White's better and I think Miami of Ohio's QB is better.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2003 The Chargers have the qb of the future in Drew Brees whether San Diego fans like it or not. The Chargers will either go defense or find a WR/OL to help continue with rebuilding. Manning will either drop to Arizona or they will trade up to take him allowing SD to get more picks. Taking Manning when the line is horrible and the WR needs additional talent would be a poor decision. But Brees is the Chargers QB and I see no reason to draft Manning, who I feel may be the most overrated prospect since Ryan Leaf.

Jason White's better and I think Miami of Ohio's QB is better. Ben-Ro OWNS White's Ass along with Manning as far as talent for the NFL goes. White will not make it in the pros and If Eli Manning's name wasn't Manning, he wouldn't get all the hype. If San Diego does have ANY intelligence, They will be picking Roetliesberger because he is a bigger and Very Agile QB(Think of him as the White McNabb) and is more more marketeable then Eli, whom will ALWAYS be Peyton's Little Brother. San Diego-Rothleisberger (He might want to get a Name change to Rothberger because the "leis" part will confuse sportswriters and he'll wind up being called Ben-Ro against all his hardest convictions NOT to be called that. That being said, Little Peyton will be #1 overall. Yes, Flutie right now is better then Eli Manning but Manning has the tools to be a great one. Flutie would be a GREAT teacher if he was willing to be...He didn't touch Brees and look where that got him...
Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted December 29, 2003 actually Peyton has said Eli has a stronger arm than him and during the off-season they'll be spending a good portion of it together where Peyton can teach Eli how to read defenses better and what have you...which pisses me off because I don't need to see another stall artists. Peyton is the Larry Zybisco of the NFL. Walk away and stall, talk to his wide recievers, point at people, gets ready to call for the ball to be hiked and then he takes a damn time-out. But it won't be the Chargers getting Manning. I've been hearing things....It's a conspiracy....the Colts will somehow do this. They want Eli and Peyton on the same team, they'll get them together. All hope will be lost. Its crazy....or I'm crazy....you pick.
